β β β β β This whole experience was stunning.
Every bite was delicious and not to mention the beautiful and thoughtful plating by Chef Daisuke Izutsu.
We ordered the 9 course omakase set for $150 per person and we were not disappointed.
The seasonal veggies and fish was amazing. Each ingredient was wonderfully used in each dish. I especially loved how the original flavour of the ingredient were retained. The freshness of the sashimi, the zesty tang from the yuzu and the rich fat of the tuna.
The service was impeccable and staff was polite & friendly.
We are eyeing to come back and try their special $300 course :)

β β β β β Great authentic Japanese restaurant. Use high quality in-season ingredients and cooked elegantly. The wagyu uni dish was so creamy and delicious. The seasonal main dish was full of fun while tasting different flavors and textures. Definitely recommend!!!

β β β β β Beautiful food that has so much soul in it. Every dish is gorgeous and taste like it is from the heart.
Great sitting on the counter to watch the chef at work. Thoroughly enjoyed both the food and the dining experience.
P.S.: This is a omakase only restaurant. But the chef went out of the way to create a wagyu steak dish for my meat-loving hubby at an extra cost. He loved it.

β β β β β For the full experience of omakase, you can select which course set you'd like and add an additional sake pairing. Wasn't much nigiri, however the quality of every plate was superb and well thought out for both appearance and taste. I would come back again and get specific items I loved.

β β β β β Best Japanese in Toronto that I know of. The chef is truly a master of his craft - we will be coming back to experience the menu in all 4 seasons! Everything was unique and amazing and the atmosphere was really relaxed and accepting.

β β β β β This place is such a gem! We went for my boyfriendβs birthday and got the omakase set. Each dish was presented like a work of art, the attention to detail and the way the flavours melds together were delicious. The uni wagyu is an umami bomb, so yummy!! Highly recommend.

A different but still refined omakase experience, delightful plating and good sake pairing.
If you don't like rice, there is none served here. There is a focus on clean, simple flavours of the fish, various textures and colours.
The staff are friendly, chatty, service did not feel rushed at all - and make sure you get bar seating to watch the dance in the kitchen and the joys of other people enjoying the food.
My only feedback is that the noodles at the end were slightly on the salty side - a bit too heavy for a finishing dish, only saved by the sweetness of Japanese melon.
Recommend you go for the 9 course and share the pairing (unless you're a baller).

β β β β β I would give even more stars if I could! Staff was wonderful, atmosphere was brilliant! It's a very intimate dining vibe. We had the 9 course tasting menu and the experience was worth every penny. Chef Daisuke Izutsu was truly a pleasure to watch and you could tell how much he love and care he puts into his craft.
The 4th course was singlehandedly the best bite of food I have ever had the pleasure of eating. The sake pairings with each course were absolutely perfect. We loved their home-made sake so much we bought an extra bottle to bring home. We had an incredible time and will most definitely be back again soon! Cannot recommend this place enough!
