Good is fabulous, wine selection is good, service is quick, personable and most importantly, friendly. I'm a big believer that service experience is everything, and the staff at Florentia don't disappoint. They have the SWEETEST staff that go above and beyond.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I ordered a take-out salad and a dinner earlier tonight. It was ready when I arrived and still hot when I got home. The veal was really tender and flavourful and the beet salad was excellent. Price was reasonable. It’s one of my favourite restaurants on Mt. Pleasant.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pretty good Italian restaurant. A lot of predictable offerings and a few surprises on the menu. Specials were enjoyed by two of our group and well received.
The menu surprise for me was a baby beef liver in a seasoned balsamic reduction. Kind of Italian I guess. Very tasty.
Wine list from too$$$ to reasonable. I don't know Italian wines as well as other regions, so maybe they were the right price.
I like watching the open kitchen. Lots of action. Some may find it noisy and distracting.
In a big cosmo city, this place may not stand out as anything super special. But the combo of traditional and bistro offers something for most. For sure, if you're local, try it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What can I say... I have a top notch dining experience whenever I frequent this restaurant! The food is excellent and fresh, the owner & staff make you feel special on every visit. The pasta, the pasta, the pasta (had to say it 3 times! :). Tried various dishes and they all impress. You feel like some good Italian cuisine... give them a try!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a wonderful time here, the food, the wine and the service was exemplary. Excellent homemade bread, pasta and sauces. The tiramisu dessert was a wonderful finish to dinner. Massi was a great waiter and recommended some excellent wine. 5/5

We loved our main dishes, one of the best pasta’s we ate in awhile.
