Dr. Ihab Mikhail is an exceptional professional. He listens to the patient’s concerns and presents them with various solutions and plans of treatment. The office itself is extremely well-kept, and in accordance with all health regulations during the pandemic. The clinic’s receptionist is a thorough and welcoming woman who pays attention to details and aims to accommodate the customers to the best of her ability. I would recommend and encourage any person in need of an optometrist to visit this clinic and experience it for themselves.

I could not be happier with my overall experience at Sherwood Optometrists. Dr. Mikhail and his entire team go the extra mile to answer questions, are always very welcoming and knowledgeable. Dr. Mikhail really stands out as he takes the time with each patient, the examination is thorough and he explains everything in detail. Sherwood Optometrists is a highly professional and very well managed eye care clinic. I have been a loyal patient for past 5+ years. Dr Ihab is extremely kind and knowledgeable! My family and I have been seeing him for 8 years. He is always on time, never rushes the appointment, and ensures that you leave happy and have a good knowledge about your vision. I would highly recommend him.

Sherwood optical is a very well equipped optometry clinic very clean very welcoming, the administration staff are also nice . But the Doctor there is the best thing ..Dr Ehab Mickael is an amazing person and very professional kind and very calm. Very thankful that I have met you Doctor Mickael. Highly Recommend.

Dr. Mikhail, I wanted to say a big thank you to you and your admin team of this eye care center. I had a great experience with them at the clinic. They went above and beyond the call of duty helping me and my family. Their booking response was very quick with great customer service and professionalism. If you are looking for a clinic that cares and is very knowledgeable this is the one to go to!!

I was in a very uncomfortable situation at this clinic today when I had to use a washroom when I attended my appointment today. Staff said clinic does not have a bathroom and directed me to go to the pharmacy in the same building saying they will let me use their's. But people at the Pharmacy said it is not for public and i felt so embarrassed. I was very upset as to why staff at the clinic asked me to go to the Pharmacy. It would even be illegal if the staff of this clinic do not have access to a bathroom and if they do have one, it would be discriminatory for not allowing Patients to use it.This is in a small plaza and there isn't any other place to go and felt very uncomfortable. This is highly unacceptable and I was very embarrassed about the whole situation.

The most respect profession comes with big responsibilities! Doctor Mikhail, never stop serving patients, regardless of what OHIP is covering and what is NOT ( current dispute of other doctors of Optometry ) . Scheduling an appointment was a breeze. Team is great! Doctor’s Mikhail willingness to continue provide excellent expert care is admirable and should bring him fame! He deserve to have loyal patients, prioritizing him over any other clinic. I am so very impressed, great experience. HIGHLY recommend! I am 65, fighting cancer and diabetes, I can compare the service of the eye exams for the past 30 years.. Visiting this very friendly clinic , was definitely my best experience, most thorough exam, performed by Dr.Mikhail and his team , followed by the discussion, taking time for overview and advice, help in selection of glasses, and further test to ensure a proper service in that department . This office has a sophisticated equipment, for the variety of test, as required, including a diabetic eye exam. This is definitely the doctor, who cares! I will be back to exclusively for each future eye exam. That review is the most deserved, and not exaggerated, yet , it is very important for me to add, that finding doctor Mikhail, was really a coincident, yet at the time when the specialist was most needed ! For months, I was waiting for the eye exam, at the different clinic, where I was informed ( twice ) that my appointment is cancelled , because- and I quote : .. The government has not been paying the proper cost for these eye exams! We ask that you contact your local MPP. …” I was so lucky to be accepted by Dr Mikhail, who is not depraving his of service, not asking us to and fight for increases. In my opinion, I trust that the compensation for the medical profession might have to be reviewed on many levels, but I found it unethical how patience are forced to participate in the dispute by other doctors.
