V	Vinoth Sampath on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I took the eye exam on June 01, 2021, evening 5.30pm. I went in at 5.50pm and came out at 6.15pm. I felt the doctor was fast throughout the examination. He mentioned that I need not wear glasses and recommended contact lenses. Not much COVID-19 protocol was followed at the examination center. I had to use the same instruments used for another lady without even cleaning which was very weird.

During my regular eye examinations, he identified early onset cataracts in both my eyes. He monitored their progress, and ultimately referred me for LASIK (refractive cataract surgery) this year. He provided education and guidance every step of the way, and was never too busy to answer a question from me as I prepared to have the surgery and during follow up afterward. I have the utmost confidence in his care. Highly recommended.

It looked like the doctor was in a rush and finally he said that he is writing the prescription with the best guess as my son wasn’t able to answer all questions in an accurate manner. It was much because of the rush he was in. This was the first eye exam in Canada and I thought this is the best I could get with public health system. I just had a recent visit with other doctor which was very good. So I wanted to share my experience earlier this year for others.
S	Shab M on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our families experience was poor. 1. We entered the exam room. Dr. Jeff didn't acknowledge or look at any us. Asked to have our son on the examination chair and to close the door. 2. Through the examination he worked quick and looked rushed. 3. Our son is six years old and wasn't responding well to his rushed questions. Without making him feel comfortable to be more responsive he continued on with the examination. 4. After the examination, he still hadn't made eye contact with both parents but he decided to relay to us that we need to work on our sons attentiveness. I did tell him I disagreed and he chuckled. With respect doctor, stick to your profession and get better at it. You might have a busy clinic but there are few things that can help you in business: 1. Customer Service 2. Showing empathy to clients 3. Being courteous 4. Look up the definition of pompous and reflect... I have no doubt this doctor has knowledge and is experienced BUT cannot stress the importance of courteous behavior. I am sure the doctor or his office is going to respond with some comment saying that their ways have worked for several other customers but my review is real and true.

Dr Sciberras is a very very busy doctor so do expect delays in your appointment but believe me he will not rush you when he does see you! He has been the most thorough Optometrist I have seen to date in Canada. I only wish he had a little more interaction with his patient as he seems to do a lot on the computer whilst you are sitting there so one feels there is no eye contact and he is not listening. I have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone for his detailed eye examinations.
