Servus Credit Union - Mill Creek Meadows

I stopped in to grab cash to buy a vehicle...they were very polite and even asked about insurance...I realized I needed a blank bill of sale and they helped me with that also. Their efforts were much appreciated.

I was there to open new account. Matt the financial advisor was very helpful. He also suggested some financial advise out of the box. I would recommend this branch.

Customer Service was friendly. However, the manager we spoke with last year offered us to sign an agreement for consolidating our mortgages, ended up changing it after all the requirements was submitted. We declined the offers as it was different from what we agreed to.

i walked in 20 minutes before closing today (friday) to open up a brand new business account. in spite of the time, the tellers were friendly and helpful and got me a financial advisor right away. enter, matt mallon. he was excellent. helpful, patient, humorous...I am now an official entrepreneur and grateful for the experience I had this aft. i've dealt with 4 other megabanks in the past. none of them can touch the customer service you receive with servus.

My business partner suggested I open a personal account with Servus because they have great benefits. I filled out an online form for a personal chequings account & had to go into a branch to verify with my i.d. I chose to go to the Mill Creek Meadows location because its close to my office. When I went into this Servus location, I had to go through the whole application form again (I guess they didn't believe who I was). The representative (didn't get his name) who I was going through the form with kept asking me "why do you want to open up an account at this location?" I replied, "well, my office is near by and the location by my home has minimal hours, closed on weekends and has no parking so its an inconvenience for me." I was then told everything is good to go and to wait in the lobby for his manager to talk to me which I found very odd. Im not asking for a loan or applying for a credit card. All I want to do is open a simple chequings account. A branch manager named Sandra McColl called me into her office. She was hounding me with questions, "why do you want to open an account at this location? Why don't you open up an account downtown?" I replied back with the same thing I told the representative but that wasn't good enough for Sandra McColl. She continued to say, "You seem fishy. This sounds fishy to me." At this point, I was shocked and overwhelmed. I asked her, "are you serious right now?" She then replied, "how do you not have a credit card under your name?" I replied, I share one with my fiancé. Is that an issue? She continued to say, "it seems fishy, it seems fishy." I got fed up and asked, "are you not allowing me to open a chequings account? and she replied, "exactly, thats what I'm saying." I stood up and walked out after that. I am a 36 year old Canadian entrepreneur from Africa who simply wanted to open a chequings account and I could not do that because of the color of my skin. I will definitely not be doing any business with Servus. I wish I could I give this Servus location 0 stars.

Very nice people; the advisors and tellers know me by name, and they are always going the extra mile to keep my business. I deal with other banks because I have to, but I deal with Servus because I prefer to, and whenever I have a choice I always choose them.

Nothing wrong with the employees. All Servus Credit Unions are getting a 1 star for their hours. Makes it impossible to do anything if working full time reg hours.
