After 4 months of delays and numerous requests for needless additional information to obtain a Line of Credit to consolidate our high interest credit cards from our existing bank at the time, we reached out to Matt to see what other options were available to us. Within days of of receiving all of our financial information, Matt suggested to refinance entirely as opposed to just a Line of Credit that would still leave us with our bi-weekly payments for our existing mortgage and new car loan along with additional Line of Credit monthly payments. We agreed that this would be our preference if we qualified and within a week Matt had an approval in principal from First National Financial, one of Canada's largest non-bank mortgage lenders. The 5 year fixed term rate offered and accepted was as low and the same as the major banks. Matt completed all of the paperwork and arranged a virtual review and signing of the documents with us. For the purpose of the actual closing Matt provided us with a referral to a local lawyer firm if we did not have one ourselves. We were under no obligation to use this firm, however after choosing Matt as our broker, by choosing them it turned out to be the next best decision we made. This firm expertly prepared and navigated us through the closing documents and even though a very short closing date was established, they handled all of the disbursements to pay our existing creditors and obtain our new mortgage and we closed on time. We now have just one bi-weekly mortgage obligation and it is notable to mention that our new payments are lower than what our existing mortgage payment was at the time, however it also include our credit card debt and new car loan. In summary, once we had provided Matt with all of our all of our financial information, he managed everything seamlessly between himself, the lender and the lawyers. All we had to do was be available for the document reviews and signing. We fully endorse Matt to handle your lending needs. He represents lending expertise, knowledge, professionalism, integrity and last but not least, is an extremely friendly and helpful person.
