Steven Scott is the Chair and Chief Executive Officer of StorageVault Canada (TSXV: SVI) and an owner and Chief Executive Officer of the Access Group of Companies. Mr. Scott has over 20 years of experience in the ownership, acquisition, development and management of self storage, residential and industrial real estate in Canada.
Mr. Scott is the Chair of Parkit Enterprise Inc. (TSXV: PKT) and serves as Director and Audit Committee Chair on the Board of Park Lawn Corporation (TSX: PLC). Mr. Scott also serves as a Director and Treasurer of the Canadian Self Storage Association.
Mr. Scott holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree and the CPA and CA designations.

Staff and facilities are fine, but after things settled and I had some time to look around I found another facility that rented the same-sized unit for $140!!! less per month. Needless to say, I moved my stuff again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have spent an hour looking for my original review. I can't find it so this is an addition. The lockers I have seen are metal, all are electricly guarded. If someone breaks in to your locker, they know about it. The service is absolutely horrible. They don't accept cash. This is a problem because many of the people who might need a storage locker don't have a bank account. I could not deposit money to pay for my locker because it was a Saturday. There are several reasons why not accepting Canadian currency is bad for customers . Be cautious of any business that refuses cash.
I was asked how the business could do things better.
1.) Call the customers 5 days before the lockers they hold are over due. Most people probably want to avoid late fees. This might give people a chance to do that.
2.)When calling the costumer define how late the account is and what will be done if the account reaches the next stage. This may give time to the costumer to get money together and not be in a mad panic.
3.)Install something to lock bicycles to. Many people are on shaky financial ground, and therefore get around on a bicycle. Locking to electrical/natural gas infrastructure is not smart. Its a fire hazard and if Epcor or Atco need to get in to their stuff to work a cluster of bikes just might be enough to require your lock being cut. It may also be against the law to lock there. Locking to the railing next to the entrance is a fire hazard and that will get your lock cut.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very helpful people and very nice company helped me out a lot when I needed it. Price was alright sure have gone up since I last needed a storage unit back in my early 20 Ty's. Clean bright and also don't have to worry about things freezing as it's heated. And always equipment there to help with hauling your stuff to the unit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a small issue with the office but they quickly responded back with a resolution. I’m extremely happy that they took the ownership of the situation and quickly resolved the issue in matter of time.
This shows that they do care at this location and I’ve been renting since 2013 and never had any issues.
