I wish I were able to give 0 star for this place. The lady was speaking as she asked me forward and I am explaining my condition and she cut me as she was having fun conversation with her colleague. She cuts my conversation several times. I am offering to show my Alberta registration/ vehicle insurance as as proof of identity and she says "not accepted". Someone need to explain to this lady that a person with stolen wallet has no ID! This is my 2nd time having a horrible interaction with this registry. Please don't go to this place if you don't want to get a headache!

They're really not joking with the name-- it really did feel like an in and out, easy, quick process. I had to renew my license and it was my first time doing so as I'm young, and although I didn't say so, Cristy, the woman who helped me, could tell and worked with me accordingly. She was very kind and made it a really fast process and made sure all my information was updated and quickly took my picture. All of it was very routine to her and she made it a zero fuss process. Was out in 5 minutes! I received my new license quite promptly in the mail after that. Thank you Cristy and In & Out for being helpful and staying true to your name!

The road test examiner was very professional and great at her job. She was very polite and clear with her instructions. I wish I can remember her name, but she is an East Indian lady. I recommend anyone wanting to take a road test to go to the In & Out registry at this location. Thumbs up ?

Very rude, poor service and felt awkward and uncomfortable. Only white people are allowed to get fast friendly and efficient service. If you are not go else where. I walked out.

This place has been pretty good for me. Literally in and out in under 10 minutes. They move through queues quickly, too. It's a small space, so there's not much room for a lineup, but they have it set up as best they can, under the circumstances.

Argyll Registry/In & Out Registry has been my family's go-to registry for years, solely based on its proximity to our homes and places of work. The service has always been sub-par, with the employees always seeming miserable and like they would rather be anywhere but there. There are several employees who make it seem as though it is their lifes purpose to inconvenience their customers and make them feel frustrated. I have literally seen them take joy in sending a customer away because they didn't have the right paperwork. Despite the frustratingly slow and impersonable service, I return annually for my car registration. It is fifteen to twenty painstaking minutes out of my year that I seem to forget about a few hours after I leave. With this being said, my most recent experience has left an incredibly bad taste in my mouth, with a vow from myself and my family members to never return to this establishment. I observed a middle aged gentleman of Asian descent try to register a vehicle and renew his drivers license. English was not his first language. The employee of In & Out Registry spoke down to him in a demeaning and condescending tone. She used the voice a kindergarten teacher uses on toddlers. She was refusing to renew his license because he was not "from a compatible country". I understand that our government has compatibility requirements for drivers licenses from other countries, and there is paperwork required to transfer a license from a different country. This gentleman had all accompanying paperwork and had previously spoken to a different registry that told him with a declaration from his home country, he was proficient to renew his drivers license in Canada. This woman was almost taking a sick joy in refusing to renew his license. She was talking overly loud so the entire line of people waiting to see a registry teller could hear, telling the man he would need to surrender his current license, get a learners license for one year, and then take a road test. After a quick google search, I found out that the country that this man was from DID have a reciprocal relationship with Canada, and his license should be valid. I do not know why this woman was so adamant on refusing to renew this mans license. It was truly a painful experience to witness. When it was my turn at the till, the woman was beyond rude to me. I was taken aback to the point that I had no words. I told her I would like to register a new vehicle for my Husband. She looked at me and said, verbatim, "hahah, nope, no you won't be" and pushed my paperwork back at me, with no explanation. I did not understand why I could not register his vehicle, and she was not able to offer me any explanation at all. She just scoffed at me like I was an idiot and sent me away. I understand that people have bad days, and bad days can cause people to act out of character. Unfortunately, this Registry has been consistently unprofessional in the way that they interact with customers.

I've been coming here for years. They're usually really good, fast etc. normal stuff. Today we walked out because employees were not wearing masks, pulling masks down to talk, or sometimes yell across the room. Also a fire alarm went off and literally nobody on staff took it seriously. No talk of evacuating or anything. They just tried to turn the alarm off. It's not even cold today.
