This bank most of workers they don't have a experience. They don't now about there job what they have to do last time i went to bank i want to talk to there manager i was deling with one of financele adviser she said to me i am the manager and she doesn't know what she has to do she was asking another guy how to do this how to that if she's manager she most no her job .

It seems as if my presence at the branch personally offends them. All staff are very curt and will only sometimes listen to requests. All banter they do engage in feels wooden and bland. As if they are just reading off a list of things to say to appear human. The actual hours are terrible and the only excuse they give is "This branch is currently operating under reduced hours". 9:30am til 4:00pm most days with Saturday being by appointment only and Sunday not at all. I would absolutely go to a different branch if you could swing it or, even better, go do business with another bank.

Probably some of the worst experience I've ever had with a financial institution here. The hours are bad, and going online to setup a callback actually gets you a callback to set up an appointment to come in branch, typically over a week away. The advice I got from the one time I did go in branch was appallingly misleading. I was also suggested that earning scene points on a debit card was equally as good as cashback on a credit card? I haven't yet had a good experience ever with this branch and go out of my way to deal with other institutions exclusively rather than talk to somebody from here. Some systemic changes are needed before I would switch to using this location for any of my financial products.

Very bad experience, I went to this branch to apply for second mortgage. The β€œ financial advisor” olaniyi owolabi, doesn't deserve to be called advisor, the most unfriendly and unsympathetic advisor I ever met. I felt very unwelcome and underestimated. When my mortgage is up for renewal, I will go and find somewhere else. Don’t waste your time here, ask somebody to help you with your finances.

Worst banking experience and institution I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with!!! I was working with someone for 3 months at this branch about porting our existing mortgage over to the new house we bought. Tareq decided to go on holidays for 2 months and never forwarded our account and information over to someone else. He didn't even let us know he was going away. I have never been more upset. Talk about complete incompetence. So I had to start from scratch with someone new weeks before we had to do all of the legal stuff with our lawyer. They have no idea what they are doing. They just shrug it off like it is no big deal. If we had the time, we would have gone to another bank in a heartbeat. Once our 5 years is up, we will be getting a new mortgage with a different bank. I won't use Scotiabank again in the future after this experience.

The Customer Service rep was completely incompetent. After trying at-length to resolve the problem ourselves through the Scotia-helpline, we went to this branch in person. Went to Customer Service and explained the problem. Their solution? Call Scotia-helpline, and keep us waiting for another few hours. Didn't even have the balls to say "I don't know". That I would have accepted rather than wasting an afternoon in that rat-hole. Conclusion? If you value good customer service & your time, do not bank here.

I will preface this review by saying if I could give no stars I would.. I booked an appointment with their Senoir financial Advisor, Olaniyi OwoΔΊabi. When I arrived I stated that I was looking for bridge financing and explained why it was required. Not only did I feel unwelcome in the branch he behaved as though my very presence irritated him To make matters worse, he did not appear to know what he was doing. 4 DAYS LATER, I received a call stating they didn't do bridge financing any longer and had not since November. . He offered no alternative or advice nor did he express his apologies for NOT KNOWING WHAT HIS BANK OFFERED. How is this man a financial advisor? Train your people for not only their job but also their people skills. I will be taking all of my banking needs elsewhere. Terrible!!

I went to this bank about a month ago to get a new bank card. They told me to go to another branch to get one. I felt very unwelcome and they were not friendly at all! But I told them well I got a car with my kids and I needing a bank card to get gas! So they let me get a new bank card. They need friendly staff not hateful ones.
