★ ★ ★ ★ ★ All staff at the front was welcoming as I stepped in, and asked me what they could help me with. I made an appointment with Jade Zhang to open student debit and credit cards. Being a student with not much knowledge, I had a few questions regarding the preferences I would like for my cards. After only a few questions, she became impatient with me and told me I should stop asking her and go ask my mom instead. (My mom was not with me at this appointment) She did not seem helpful or wanting to help me, like she just wanted the accounts to be open so she could get her bonus from selling credit cards. I could be wrong about her bonus, but she did not seem friendly except for the first few minutes of meeting.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was seeking to make a same day appointment to discuss a promotional item and this was the only branch with an opening. I met with Kun who was very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. I signed the paperwork, which was very straightforward and efficient, and discussed the industry as I also work in financial services. The entire experience was excellent and I applaud Kun for taking a same day appointment with the enthusiasm and professionalism that she did. Thank you!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Made an appointment with an advisor at this location for 2pm today and I arrive to find out it has been closed due to a fire. Google said it was closed but I assumed it was open since Scotiabank website allowed me to book an appointment here. The notice posted on their door advised me to drive to 186 Bank St. branch and they helped me promptly. Great customer service at that location.
