Horrible customer service from Colleen, the delivery department and others. While they have nice looking products, their customer service is nothing to write about. Firstly, they failed to communicate the actual length of time it would take to receive the order we placed and no one tried reaching out to us for months. I get that covid made production slower and all but no communication at all and when I tried reaching out to them, they said oh our products had arrived. While I was waiting, no one bothered reaching out that our order had arrived. I was happy about the news regardless until they mentioned it was just half the order that was in and the remaining were still back ordered till October (making it over 4 months wait or even more). No problem, I had no control so I paid for what was in store and they delivered to my place. They scratched my wall so badly I had to say something. Scratches occur and have standard but the damage done was so bad I had to call and because I reached out after a week of the damage, they dismissed my claim and said their staff would NEVER do such. No apology! No accountability and no responsibility of actions. Just straight up dismissal saying “our staff are adamant that this did not happen” and well, good luck to me. I wish they used the same energy when they were taking my cash. I reported them to the BBB and I know from experience that no one should treat a customer like they don’t matter regardless of how long they have been in service. I sent them pics of proof and my cleaner was in at the time who witnessed it but no, they all are ALIENS apparently and can do no wrong! Use them at your own risk but remember that good customer service is what sustains a company and hiring the right staff because “Colleen”, the lady that was replying all my emails, lacks good customer service and will ruin the reputation of this company if nothing gets done quickly. She may have been there for ages, I don’t know and I don’t care but it only takes one staff to run down a business! I wish there is a way to return all they brought to my house as I’m so displeased by their service but I’m heavily pregnant and have no help at this time so, I really don’t want to stress my self any more than I should.

Great quality table from a fantastic company... and a delivery with a smile. Would 100% get more furniture from ScanDesigns.

We had a very positive experience picking out our sofa. This was our first time buying from Scan Design but we had bought a dining table from Muse and Merchant (Sister store) last year and the service and quality of the table was fantastic too. We ended up buying the Carlsen sectional from Maureen Gusway. Maureen was extremely helpful, patience and not pushy at all. The sectional is beautiful and has a lot of storage under for throw blankets etc. The delivery guys were prompt and very professional and set it up in our living room for us. Thank you Scan Design and Maureen Gusway!

We are very pleased with the unique items purchased at Scan Design over the years. The last item (delivered this week) was a fold up wall bed which has turned out to be a great solution for a tiny room. Your delivery/set up crew are also awesome, one fellow I recognize from previous deliveries and is always cheerful with an eye for carefully getting through the tightest of spots.

Only buy from them if you have a long life ahead of you. If need a repair done to your chair or couch be prepared to wait for possibly a year or more. I cannot tell you how long as we claimed on the guarantee back in August and they still cannot give us an estimate for when the parts will be available…

Fantastic service! I called regarding a recliner we bought many years ago. It just stopped relining, stuck in one position:( We were extremely pleased with the service we received, the service tech came out prepared with extra parts and within minutes had it working.Very knowledgeable and friendly. He went out of his way to help my husband move it back to the living room.Truthfully cannot say enough about the friendly staff, they listened.Thank you

We began our search to furnish our living room in January 2021 during the Covid pandemic. Supply was scarce & wait times were long. The Victoria store & the customer service we received from all the staff, in particular salesperson Tessa, was exemplary. Very professional, patient & informative. Even after numerous visits & changes to our order, Tessa always greeted us with a warm, genuine & helpful demeanor. We are very happy with our Luna chairs & our living room is finally complete. Wow .... I was thoroughly impressed with Lori and her warm personality, her knowledge, her no pressure service approach.. I had not idea furniture shopping could be so enjoyable. I was also impressed with Jeff. I dropped the leather sample off on a day when Lori was not in. I also wanted to place my furniture order. Jeff stepped in with his friendly personality, entered my order and assured me that Lori would receive the full commission as she was the one who spent so much time with me choosing my item. Love the team work approach at Scan Designs. Plus, they have a large selection of all things home decor. It was my first time shopping at Scan Designs and I'm a happy customer who will return.
