★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best experiences in customer service you will ever experience. It's funny how things happen for a reason. I went to Sport Chek in Shawnessy to buy some new Asics. As usual you can never get anyone to help you with anything. After watching the person in charge text for 10 minutes and me saying excuse me, and not receiving any kind of acknowledgement, I left! I seriously don't know how they keep the doors open. My lucky day, I got to meet Tony at the Running Room! The man is personable, knowledgeable and has a caring attitude. Long story short I left with a brand new pair of Hoka's. Tony will now be my go to guy for sport shoes. A big Thank you to Tony and The Running Room!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I came to The Running Room about a week ago looking for my first pair of running shoes, and Alfredo was so courteous, kind, and thorough in helping me look! I'm a total beginner, and he took the time to even show me how to tie my laces properly. :) All in all, I've been loving the shoes he recommended, and I can't wait to bring my bf here for when he needs his next pair of runners!

I have never had someone dedicate so much effort to making sure that my footwear accommodates my medical needs so well, and I'm very happy to say that the shoes are working out for me. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was given the best customer service I’ve ever received. I needed a pair of shoes as most of my shoes have never fit properly or don’t last long. I was helped by given knowledge of the reasons shoes aren’t comfortable for me, because of how I walk and the arch in my foot. Not only did they advise me multiple pairs of shoes, they also advised me of hiking trails and places to walk as I just moved to the city. Absolutely the best experience I’ve had shopping for shoes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Service not as great as before. Last time the lady were amazing, she let me walk to see what type of shoe would fit best. Let me try on lots of shoes. Got a pair I'm crazy about even got a discount. Now its time for new ones and didn't even thought twice about going back there.
This guy was not very helpful or friendly at all. Was like I was interrupting his day or whatever. Felt so uncomfortable trying shoes on. I just grabbed the same type of runners as I had before. I politely asked if there is any discount or so. Said straight no, sales are too low.
If my toe wasn't almsot sticking out my old shoe I would've just left. Asked my husband to pay as I couldn't stand his attitude anymore.
