★ ★ ★ ★ ★ BE WARNED. Bad gym, even worse ethics. Similar experience to a previous reviewer, I had "cancelled" my membership with them but they continued to charge me on a monthly basis. I say "cancelled" in quotations because what you think is ending your membership doesn't mean you are, contractually.
Be careful when leaving this gym - it's even more difficult because they don't operate digitally, no email confirmation, nothing. Which leaves no paper trail to confirm any cancellation. Along with their archival processes, they have someone manually charging your card each month, not through an accredited automated system. I had to set up a stop payment from 'RZ' transactions on my card and file a dispute because these charges starting showing up years after I had left this gym.
Ron, do better.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a great club. I have been a member at this club for over two years. The club has best equipments in Vancouver. There is also a huge studio with natural light. They have wonderful group classes too. Administrative manager is super friendly and very helpful.
The have also great personal trainers for best private classes. Don't hesitate to joint this gym today!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the third gym I’ve tried in Vancouver and it is definitely my favourite. Very reasonable pricing, lots of great equipment, class options, and it’s never too busy! Staff are really friendly and create a nice atmosphere. I love coming here to work out!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great gym! I love working out here. The variety of machines are great and the staff are nice. Classes are included in price of membership, including yoga, which adds great value to the membership. The machines are well cleaned and maintained & the owner Ron is personable and welcoming. I love the women's area but also feel welcome in co-ed. Areas of improvement would include, being open Sundays and earlier Saturday mornings & having basic pricing online. When I asked a staff member how to use a machine I was not given help but rather they suggested I hire their personal trainer. Basic questions about how to use a machine should not cost additional money, both for good customer service and member safety.
Overall though, a very good experience despite areas of improvement and I would highly recommend gym for it's excellent equipment and upkeep.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I signed up at this gym because it was the closest to my house. I figured it couldn't be that bad but ooooh boy I was wrong. It was fine until I tried to leave the gym. The business owner here will use every slimy sales technique you can think of to take your money, including charging your card even AFTER you cancelled.
As an update the last friend still going here on a 1 year membership told the staff that he would like to quit and the staff told him he will have to pay $40 to cancel the EXPIRING contract.
Avoid at all costs.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's really a great gym! They have wonderful machines, great space and there is never a line up. There are four power racks, squad racks and two smith machines. Weight training equipments are metal and efficient. New modern cardio/cable equipments are available too!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been to many gyms before trying to find the best one, and after my first day at Ron Zalko's I knew my search was over! The staff is so friendly and I felt very comfortable. They also offer everything you could ever ask for in a gym! highly recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great gym! I have been a member for over 2 years and I really enjoy working out at this club. All machines and equipments are perfect. The gym is huge with natural light and boxing bags. The group classes are also very good too.
