Excellent flavour and friendly service. I can’t say enough good things about this spot! Definitely check out the whole menu! (There Jamaican patties are a really good snack on the run)

I am not very familiar or well versed in Caribbean cuisine but, I tried the oxtail plate from here today and i'm in love. I am not usually an avid oxtail eater, but the meat was tender and cooked so well. Their hot sauce is made in-house and phenomenal, if you like spicy make sure you load up the food with it.

From seeing the rating I was expecting high expectations from this restaurant and there’s not many JAMACIAN restaurants in BC. So, when I came here the jerk chicken I had was dry and tasteless. I wouldn’t come back here.

Can gwan! Big portions, food not bad, and didn't take long after placing the order. Good stuff! Highly recommend.

The ginger beer was good. The Jerk Chicken was passable, the jerk was watered down plus the rice and beans were lacking coconut. Nice design though.

One of my favorite spots to go to for Jamaican food! The owner is super nice and always remembers his regulars, including my boyfriend's father who used to live on commercial drive and brought us here to eat. I have been here before and always get the oxtail. It's delicious and comes with rice and a salad. I wish it came with a bit more meat because I always want to order more lol. The restaurant now has more outdoor seating which is perfect during the pandemic. We sat outside and just watched customers go in and out of the resto. It seems like a staple and favorite on the drive. That being said, I can see how they can run out of food early, especially because it does not seem like they have much staff, and only one main chef in the kitchen. My suggestion is to go earlier in the day or to call ahead of time to make sure they haven't sold out for the day.

Been missing Jamaican Food since moving to Vancouver from Toronto, and I am so glad to have found Riddim & Spice. Everything is delicious, the hot sauce is very hot, and the portions are sizable. The atmosphere is very relaxed, and the service is friendly. Will be coming back for sure!!

Being very honest, I haven’t been to the Caribbean so i cannot speak of authenticity but, the goat curry tastes more like authentic South East Asian style goat curry than any Indian or SE Asian restaurant in Vancouver. The oxtail was succulent and to get both in a lunch combo made it an amazing deal. It’s a hole in the wall, mom and pop kind of place. The customer service was poor but the food was fantastic (otherwise for food alone 5 stars). I can imagine going here repeatedly.
