From our humble origins as breakfast experts – to today’s menu with dozens of modern dishes for any time of the day, Ricky’s is a place where everyone feels at home.
Ricky’s opened its doors in Vancouver in 1962 as Ricky’s Pancake House, famous for buttermilk pancakes, value breakfast specials, and the very best service. Ricky’s expanded in the 1980s to include full lunch and dinner. As well, in 2014, Ricky’s acquired ABC Country Restaurants, a chain that had delivered great country fare for over 40 years. This merge brought together two great brands, both with a rich history of delivering exceptional food and service to Canadian families.
In 2017, the Ricky’s brand further expanded with the launch of Ricky’s CafΓ©, a new contemporary cafΓ© concept with an express burger and sandwich bar and gourmet home meal takeout service. All while still serving the famous breakfasts and high quality lunch and dinner items Ricky’s is known for.
With ongoing expansion, including new locations opening in Alberta and BC, Ricky’s has 85+ locations across Canada to serve you.

β β β β β Very great place. The food is great and the customer service is amazing, they have a great variety/ selection of food to choose from is is quite nice. The seats are nice and cozy which is important and is a very comfortable place. The prices are quite reasonable and you get a good-sized portion too. I recommend this place.

β β β β β Pretty good food and decent service! Hash browns need to be cooked more, pretty much raw! Chicken and waffles were amazing! Would go back but would not order stuffed hash browns again.

β β β β β Best rickys in the entire city. Hands down. Waitresses are super nice and my parents feel like home here. Food is always good and made to how you want it (and my parents make up stuff not on the menu and not once have they made them feel inconvenienced). My kids love to eat here too... the ice cream sundae is the best part! Would recommend to anyone looking for a nice family meal.

β β β β β Great breakfast. Waiter was attentive and kept coffee topped up. Great selection. Bonus that you can substitute pancakes with some breakfasts @ no extra charge. Large portions, could not finish my omlette meal however my hubby ate all his.

We made it for another schnitzel before the special is gone. Superb meal!! Photo added.
The only photo I took was the cute snow hare sitting by the entrance. But believe me the food was awesome. We went for American Thanksgiving because Rickyβs has always had a decent turkey dinner on the menu that even comes with cranberry sauce. Then we were so pleasantly surprised to see a limited special until the end of December of pork or chicken schnitzel, purple cabbage, and Yukon mashed potatoes. My friend is German-Polish so both got the best lunch today! The food was outstanding. We plan to go back for the schnitzel special again before itβs gone. Happy Thanksgiving ???. Thanks Rickyβs !!
