Krazy Binz - Calgary - Calgary

2.4/5 β˜… based on 8 reviews

It’s to make things a little more fun and interesting! A more expensive item is set on the side and an egg with a paper inside is hidden in the binz (not in items or boxes).

The lucky customer that finds the egg will get the corresponding item for the price of the day- if they wish to get the item.

The place was kinda messy and the items weren’t even high quality products. Wasn’t worth spending time to go there. Maybe if you go on those days that every items are one dollar each, you’ll be able to find somethings you need. I personally wouldn’t go there again. I think they need to bring some better items with higher quality.

Would recommend on $5, $3, or $1 days. Found some decent stuff! Staff are friendly and the clothes are decently priced compared to buying brand new online. Some treasures for sure. Just wish people wouldnt open the boxes or throw everything everywhere, so you could find a complete set, to save time.

they really have good stuff that is worth the money you spend. sometimes you even get to see some stuff that gives you ideas especially when it comes to organizing your home in a very nice and clever way. Prime days are also awesome as you also get to purchase nice and expensive electronics for only $25!!!

There is a lot that can be said about this place. What used to be an innovative, exciting, and a friendly business has quickly gone so far down hill. Upon my recent visit to this business, not only has the place lacked the quality of products they once had, but many items had been emptied from their packaging or the items were completely destroyed. The environment was completely drained of its friendly and fun experience that once existed. The employees come across as miserable and quite frankly, I don't blame them under the current store manager. The management used to be amazing here when they first opened the Calgary location, however under the current store manager Al, the store has a very unwelcoming and unenjoyable feeling to it. He yells at the customers, has a horrible attitude towards people, he is arrogant towards his employees, and he seems to get enjoyment out of creating barbaric and chaotic situations between the customers. He laughs when customers tackle each other to get to the stock that has been refilled into the bins. The products in the bins are no longer Amazon returns or overstock. In fact the items have been Giant Tiger and is of extremely low quality. The store lacks consistency and change the rules constantly. The best thing the owners of Krazy Binz can do for this location is to get rid of the manager and get a fresh start with a new manager and rebuild the staffing situation and the morale within the store as soon as possible. Not doing so will eventually lead to legal action from someone the manager has abused or disrespected or the store losing a large portion of its business and will make it difficult to keep their doors open. The manager is a cancer and is absolutely toxic for the company as a whole.

What a sham. There where only 5 items even remotely worth $25 in the whole store. They aren’t showing the bins because there isn’t anything worth $1.. broken items, stuff that’s $5 on Amazon available for $25.. they had a sword.. a real sword (selling dangerous items is really safe) with a broken hilt.. for $25. This place used to be good.. it was fun. Now, it’s like a dumpster dive, and not in a good way. If you’ll excuse me I have to go wash my shoes because I feel dirty for even thinking about walking in.

Showed up on Friday to see hype of store. Sign on front window says opens at 8am. 815am doors still locked and lights off. They also changed their pricing structure and first day of sale to Friday. By Saturday there is nothing worth looking at. Packages have been opened, picked through or stolen Staff are inattentive and looking at their phones. Resellers are lined up first thing on Friday to go through new stock and grab everything they can of value. You can find items listed in bulk on Kijiji or Facebook marketplace.

I went on a Thursday evening which is dollar days and it was pretty horrible and very picked over. Really the only things that were left were cellphone and iPad cases. Interesting concept for a store but I won't bother going back anytime soon.

Probably the best place to go to if you want to catch Covid or see/rummage through soiled underwear! Items are either used or broken or have things missing. Having said that, some things are not so bad! You can find some decent items on a good day.
