RMS has a great selection of building materials even those uncommon stuff that could not be located in other mainstream stores. Their prices are very reasonable, even for walk-in customers. Their customer services is top-notched. Most importantly, most of the time the materials are ready to be picked up right away. In short, despite their relatively small store, they have a great selection of materials, great customer services and prices.

I went in yesterday to follow-up. Waited 5 minutes to be acknowledged (only one other customer in store). I showed the picture of what I’m looking for and I’m told to try another company on Annacis Island. The attitude appears to be one that doesn’t value a new customer walking in.

Dave was the main guy that helped me and he was quite patient with me. He gave me the samples that I needed and when I went back the next day looking for another sample he didn't bat an eye. My order was probably quite small at 64 feet compared to the normal amount these guys probably deal with on a regular basis with contractors but it didn't felt like the service was any less. Definitely check this place out even if you're not a contractor.

A	Alan Cheung on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Giving it 2 stars because the guys at the back are helpful but the front stuff is not. Went in for some planks to build shelves. The guys at the back was helpful and pointed out which ones they have that will work and directed me to the front for the price. The guys at the front just straight up said nope they don't have any even though I can literally see them in the back when I walked from the warehouse to the front.

Brian at the order desk knew the situation, helped me place the order and got me going to get the product from the supplier. Helpful and excellent service for a customer that is not a tradesperson had a smile come on my face. I will be telling my contractor, and a few others, about Richmond Building Supplies. Thank you!
