Always had a wonderful time and costumer service at this location. Dave is really good and honest with you. He will always make sure that you exactly know what's wrong with your car. Thank you very much for everything. Oh! Did I mention that they have the cheapest price in Richmond?

β β β β β Love their work! Spoke with David (owner) throughout the whole process of inquiring about using them to do work on installing a new clutch, clutch fork, and flywheel for my Scion FR-S. He helped me book in a time that worked well for me. He also quoted me a price that I was comfortable with. When I got the car back he praised me for the parts I purchased that made me feel confident in the longevity of the parts. He also told me about some of the extra work they did to make sure the car would continue to run smoothly for as long as it could. I got to see my old parts (that clearly I abused a little too much), and I got to speak with the mechanic who worked on my car (who also assured me about the quality of the new parts). I will 100% be going to them the next time I need work done on my car. They are friendly, honest, fun people who do a quality job.

β β β β β Wow! Above and beyond service. Dave has been great getting my land cruiser back on the road. He has been informative, clear in communication, and highly professional as we worked around his previous commitments.
He has proven to be a reliable and very trustworthy mechanic. I only wish we went to him sooner!

β β β β β If I could give more stars, I would. David goes above and beyond with his services and even teaches you whats wrong with your car and how to fix things yourself to save yourself some money. After purchasing my first car 2 years ago I went to countless car mechanics and NONE of them have given me the service that David has provided me over and over again. I can finally say with confidence that I have found my go-to for all my car needs and I would recommend David to everyone. He provides honest service, will save you money, and genuinely cares about helping you and solving your issues in a timely matter. He will not try to sell you anything you don't need. He won't take advantage of you if you don't have car knowledge which is grandiose to me as my previous mechanics had made me skeptical to trust yet another mechanic. He has taken my car in on last minute requests, stayed past close for me, and answers all of my questions. He goes above and beyond in all aspects. You will not find a car mechanic better than David and if you don't believe this, give him one visit just to see what I mean. I've never felt the need to write a review about a company until I met David who absolutely blew me away with his skills, service, integrity and prices.

β β β β β Finding a decent and honest mechanic can be hard now a days. Iβve had bad experiences at other mechanic shops. Fortunately, I found Auto Max. Iβve had many problems with my BMW and they diagnosed the issues and fixed it right away. David went above and beyond and even called the BMW dealership to address the issues for me. He saved me not only time but money. Itβs great to have a place to take my car, where I trust that the work will be done right, and in a timely fashion with quality service.
Iβve taken my car back multiple times and every time Iβve gone back, Iβve received the same service, if not better. David took the time to explain what was going on with my car, and he was happy to answer all of my questions. He always explains everything thoroughly and didnβt proceed until I gave him the okay, which was very reassuring. I would think unforeseen problems and additional costs are fairly common with car repairs. David is very upfront with the repairs/parts needed. If a repair/part wasnβt necessary he would let me know. That's a great show of character in my opinion.
Definitely the best mechanic shop Iβve been too. I personally found my go to shop and don't plan on going anywhere else. David at Auto Max is a trustworthy, reliable, fairly priced, knowledgeable professional, who provides incredible service. I highly recommend Auto Max to everyone I know.

β β β β β This shop has become my go to shop even after moving up to Squamish. Dave (Owner) and Ali have now completed multiple jobs on my 20th Anniversary GTI and left me incredibly impressed each time. They spent the time to dig through and understand my cars quirks and modifications to make sure i'd have a setup that works well for me. They have treated me fairly from the beginning, worked flexibly with my schedule, and have had my back helping me get a few parts warrantied due to previous shops mistakes. Really appreciative of all the work you guys have done!

β β β β β So far the best experience with a car shop I have ever had since I had my license. After getting ripped off by a Toyota dealer service department, I decided to take my truck elsewhere to do a check up as there was a weird noise at the rear and my vehicle's repair insurance is about to expire.
After a detail check at the rear, it was determined that the noise came from the rear brake because again, Toyota dealership did not replace the rear brakes properly previously, which essentially screwed up my rear brakes and calipers etc. During the check up, it was also found that the rear left axle was leaking. Since the insurance company would only talk to the repair shop regarding the claim and was trying to not cover the repair bills, the owner of the shop (David) had my back and spent hours on the phone arguing with the insurance company to try to get them to cover the cost as much as possible. The truck is fixed and the weird noise is now gone.
The owner of this shop is passionate and does care for his customers. He has walked the extra mile to take care of the matter which many other shops probably wouldn't. I would recommend this shop to anyone.
