★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visiting from the US and not being sure of what are the typical norms of restaurants in the Montreal area, we were somewhat disappointed with our experience overall....
For start, the ambiance was great, it’s located in a busy outdoor type of mall which caters to many choices. The restaurant it’s self has an outdoor area Which is also heated. That was perhaps the best part of the night.
Moving on to our dishes, we went with a zucchini fries which was a nice start but clearly needed some salt otherwise it tasted bland.
Then, moving to our main courses, we went with the zibo burger and Santa Fe burger. I’m sad to report that both were overcooked (our waitress never asked how we like the meat cooked but I still mentioned it and she responded with “we cook it the same for all”). As for toppings, my burger was missing the guacamole. Not sure how they missed it.
For a $17 burger, I was expecting real meat and not the frozen/processed taste.
The service overall was ok which is why I gave a 2 star and not one but overall experience was poor for dining.
2 glasses of wine, one Diet Coke, an appetizer and two burger totaled $90 plus tip.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was asked how my food was at the restaurant but was not in the mood to cause a stir. I had the Calamari which was okay and a Caesar salad which was the most bland one I have ever had. The croutons were tiny and hard, the dressing had no flavor and I had to make my own baking bits.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The restaurant is nice and has a classy ambiance. The service was good and the food was delicious amd well presented. The only reason i did not go for 5 stars is the portion of dishes served; I ordered a chicken platter and the piece of chicken was so small it didn't satisfy my hunger. My brother in law ordered the fish platter, and he too wasnt satisfied.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went to Zibo on a Friday evening and it was not as crowded as we expected. Food was good but overall experience was so so. We feel that it was under-staffed. Even if the staff try to do their best, our salad came after 30 minutes and another 45 minutes before we got our main meal.

Having tried quite a few of the items on the menu, I'm confident I could pick a random menu item with my eyes closed and be satisfied with the dish.
The staff were on point, friendly and professional.
This is the first restaurant service in the past year that feels like it wasn't impacted by the way in which covid issues lowered the customer service bar.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our waiter was Phillip. great service. He really knows what he's doing and what to recommend on the menu.??
We had the Sangria Blanco. The only thing is I had to ask again. For my Sangria to really taste like a sangria. The first time they did it it wasn't tasty.
We took the platter for two, which has the pogo shrimps with the three types of sausages, the steak, the peppercorns sauce, the spicy mayo, the fries. the mustard sauce on the side and bed of arugula with some cherry tomatoes and some cheese on top of it.
The aesthetic of the restaurant is really nice. ??
They have to change their bread supplier because the bread is not quality. ? The bread that comes with the butter at the beginning is definitely not quality. It's hard as a rock ?
The bread that came with the burger wasn't enjoyable to eat.
The only thing that was really good is the pita that came with the creamy dip. That needs to stay on the menu. Especially the pita bread ❤️?
