Jason was a great technician. Called ahead to share his ETA. On time and followed all Covid restrictions. Very polite and engaging, and also answered multiple other questions I had about other appliances in the same room. Also set up a time for someone to come and look in more detail for me the next day. Great service!

Our furnace stopped working on us this morning. I called Reliance & they were able to come and fix it today. Jeff, was our service technician and he was not only professional and on time, he was informative and responsive to all our questions…which were what was most important to us. He finished servicing our furnace as quick as he could and ensured that we knew what our options were. Ask for Jeff…you won’t be disappointed.

Maintenance was performed on our furnace, it's first annual maintenance. The technician was very matter of fact and punctual, polite with a well defined professional persona. Explaining the checks completed and the results of all. It was a quick and precise visit resulting in a well informed inspection of our furnace. In my opinion there is always room for improvement, therefore a 5 out of 5 or 10 out of 10 is not an acceptable performance evaluation option. But the technician who visited and performed our furnace maintenance was a very professional and polite, well informed maintenance person who, on his own merits, performed extremely well and would easily rate at 9.9 by himself and who represented the company in question as best as I, or they, could ever hope for.

Reliance was very responsive to my service request and sent a technician, Landon who arrived promptly. He went out of his way to make the repair and saved me a lot of money in the process! He was friendly, informative and willing to go the extra mile to get my furnace running properly. Thanks for the outstanding customer service!

We used Reliance in the past for our AC installation as well as repair and were happy with the service, but no longer. We had issues with a noticeable burning smell and noise coming from the furnace. When the Reliance technician arrived I asked if the furnace is supposed to get that hot since we couldn’t even touch it. His answer was “Furnaces are supposed to get hot”. He couldn’t find anything wrong and suggested we raise the thermostat to burn off the smell. This made the house smell horrible and didn’t work so we called back. Meanwhile Reliance tried to sell us their monthly protection plan but it takes 21 days to come into effect and would be useless to us. We had the same technician back only he said he’d need a second technician and they’d be charging us more. He repeatedly denied being able to smell anything and suggested we finish the basement to avoid hearing the noise. They partially took apart the furnace and found a tiny bit of debris in the bottom. They left without solving the issue and this cost over $500 for two services. Had a different company come out for the same issue. Almost immediately the new company asked if Reliance took a temperature reading as this is supposed to be standard. I told him the Reliance person said “Furnace’s are supposed to get hot”. He showed me the temperature reading as 50 degrees too hot! It was overheating. He asked if Reliance looked up in the furnace, they did not. The coils were very dirty and clogged! This technician cleaned everything and you guessed it, no more overheating and no noise. We were lucky the extreme heat did not crack and destroy our furnace components. The worst part is that the Reliance technicians made us feel like we were ignorant and stupid about our own home. Will never recommend Reliance to anyone.

My partner bought a house back in 2019 with a Carrier furnace supplied and installed by Reliance which was purchased and installed in 2013. The furnace isn’t even 10 years old at the moment and the exchanger needs to be replace, a problem that both reliance and carrier acknowledged is an issue with our model of furnace and is under warranty for 25 years. We called Reliance to start the process of fixing our issue and they seem to have lost our information. There is no record of anyone ever installing a furnace at this address ever, even though we have a sticker of the furnace as proof and paper work from the previous home owners. I called Reliance 3 times, each time I called the new employee I spoke to couldn’t even find a record that I have called before even though after my first call I was guaranteed a call back and that my issue was recorded. I even received an apparently untraceable case number. All three employees recognize that this is weird but suggest that my only solution is to purchase a brand furnace and that they are incapable to put me through to anyone higher up that could perhaps help us locate some information. We have contacted Carrier as well and because the supplier and installation was done by Reliance, the said that it is only them we can deal with. This is perhaps one of the most frustrating things, our furnace is not even 10 years old and has broken down due to a known and warranted problem with our specific furnace and even though we have proof that the furnace was indeed provided and installed by Reliance… they are claiming that there is nothing to be done to help. It is minus 22 where we are at currently and we are now looking at installing a new furnace for around $5000 because this company some how lost our account. Please look more local for services like this. It is quite obviously that this company does not care about their clients and is trying to make another sale when people are stuck in a hard place.

I had to replace 2 furnaces in one year (rental). Reliance was able to soften the blow with their kind staff. Their prices were fair and they are quick and easy to use. I especially like signing everything electronically. The installers who came to my house took the time to explain my thermostat and they even shovelled my walks. I was impressed.

Jeff was great. He squeezed us in to troubleshoot our new AC install. Figured out the problem and order brand new parts to ensure the proper function of our new system. He gave us a great explanation that was easy to understand and helpful tips on operating the AC during the summer. Awesome crew. The manager Joel stopped by to ensure customer satisfaction with the work and to help his field hand. Great company with results and work we were very impressed with. My family is going to enjoy the AC this summer and we highly recommend Reliance to do your install.
