I have been using Public Mobile on a $15 per month plan ($13 per month with autopay), and I am very happy with it. You can use this referral code to get a $10 credit when you sign up: 7674X8

I have been trying to get refund fro 3 months for SIM card due inability of PM to port my number from Rogers. Never again, it was a big mistake to chose PM as a service provider at first place. I am glad not being their customer. Avoid.

They charged me $25 for a voucher and did not load it up to my account. They threw away the voucher instead of giving it to me. I went back to the store, they directed me to contact customer service. Customer service is a pain and it is only available online. There is no number you can call. They want me to go back to the store. Basically, I am going in circles to fix their mistake. They have good plans, but if anything happens, know that you are on your own and they will not lift a finger to help you. Edit: I changed rating from 1 star to 2 stars because the customer support agent finally credited me for the $25. I am still only giving 2 stars since it took forever to get this resolved. This is what happens when customer service is online only. Another downside is that a different customer service agent responds to your inquiry every time you email (despite the email being under the same ticket #). Sometimes they don't read previous messages and ask you questions you have already answered. To improve this, there should be a designated customer service agent per ticket #.

Public Mobile is the best telecommunications provider, I've been with, because of their competitive prices, and signal strength reliability. Public Mobile's innovative business model, allows user's the opportunity to lower their monthly payments. My monthly plan after competitive discounts is: $35/mo for 4.5GB at 3G speeds Unlimited Canada-wide Calling Unlimited International Text I have been in the middle of nowhere near Eckville AB, Faust AB, and Kikomun Creek BC and have had 4/5 bar LTE strength. Whereas my friend's who were with Rogers, Bell and Koodo could vaguely connect to their network. There are two Cons with Public Mobile: You must bring your own phone, and customer service is based from onsite forms. This company may not be for you, if you are impatient, need your hand held to solve online based problems, and are not humble enough to ask peers for help. If you're patient and are willing to solve online based problems, you can benefit from: 1) Receiving monthly payment discounts for contributing to the community customer service form. 2) Receive a $2 monthly discount for Credit Card payment pre-authorization. 3) Receive a $1 monthly discount for every friend you refer, who signs up to Public Mobile. 4) Receive an equal dollar amount monthly (mo) discount for every year you're with Public Mobile. ie. 1 year = $1/mo, 2 years = $2/mo, 3 = $3/mo I'm not sponsored by Public Mobile, but as a happy customer, I want to give a fair and honest review.

Sure wish I could give 0 stars! So I signed up for Public Mobile at London Drugs on May 21 for my daughter. It took over 2.5 hours of standing there to get it working. Should've ran then. Anyways, phone stopped working June 1 in the wee hours of the morning. No Service. Tried everything. Can't get anyone to talk to. You can only send an email using their "community" link and it says someone will get back to you within 2-24 hours. So after 36 hours, I went back to London Drugs and bought another SIM card. Nope. Asked them to call (they won't give out the phone number). Gentleman at Public Mobile was rude and said once the phone is activated, there is nothing they will do. On my own! So needless to say, I had to sign up with another carrier as they would NOT help me resolve. Don't waste your time and money!

Easy setup, user friendly website, as expected. Good for kids I guess. However, the internet speed is so slow, that even if I only used cellular data for the month, I could not hit my data limit. If you only need a phone or just want to text, this service is great. However if you want to watch videos or even just browse the web, don't use this service. I feel like I was browsing the web with a flip phone from 20 years ago, and I had to put my phone down and do something else while I waited for the page to load. This service is only good for calls and texts. Don't use this if you need any data whatsoever. You will be disappointed. Internet speeds would even drop below 1Mbps. Maybe that was acceptable in 2001, but today it's just not worth it. However...if you don't want your kids to use the internet on their phones, and want to make them frustrated by slowing their internet speeds, this service is FANTASTIC! No longer will they be able to scroll through TikTok, watch videos or use their phone to distract themselves from the horrors of existence. If they're outside with nothing to do and no where to go, let them experience the existential dread of being with their own self with no access to easy dopamine hits or comfort in social media. No longer will your kids be able to live in the dystopian internet world, and will be forced into the dystopian reality of our capitalist society. I'd give this 5 stars, but I don't have kids and I want my internet dopamine and comfort zone. 2 stars cuz having an emergency phone is better than having no phone. ?

Great cellphone company with far better rates than the big companies. Service is excellent, lots of incentives monthly to lower rates even further. Highly recommend! Use code 6Z4P92 to receive $10 off first bill!

When you activate online feel free to use my referral code 7PN922 for $10 FREE CREDIT! My family and I used to be on Telus and we all switched over to Public Mobile. We were previously playing ~$60 per family member. Now we're paying less than half. You have to realize with Public Mobile there is no phone support, everything is self-serve and if you have questions you have to use the online community (and they will get back to you within a few hours). As long as you read and follow the instructions there should be no reason to run into issues, it's very simple.
