Very professional and responsive! ProGas installed a combination hot water and space heating system in our home. The installation went smoothly and the heating system is working great. We were impressed with their level of professionalism and how responsive they were. We will continue to use them in future for ongoing preventative maintenance etc.

ProGas North Shore Ltd. has been a great find! They've replaced both our furnace and hot water tank over time. Each project has been managed promptly and efficiently, with care and attention to safety. I've been grateful for their assistance and know that I can call on them when needed!

Excellent, efficient, professional company. We have used them over the years to install/service our furnace and gas fireplace. Do not confuse this excellent company with Pro Gas and Heating which operates from Surrey.

ProGas crew worked overtime Friday night to complete the installation of a complicated heat pump and furnace in 2 days. Kam was particularly resourceful in making things operate, including correcting the work done by my electricians. He was the only one of 3 heating companies to suggest a heat pump instead of AC to cool the home in order to take advantage of government rebates. He also advised putting in more ducts to handle air flow in our older home. I agree with other comments about their professionalism and look forward to working with ProGas on the maintenance of the system. 2 thumbs up!

Not only did it take many calls to talk to someone about setting up a quote for installation of mini-splits, but we have been waiting almost 2 weeks to receive a quote after their visit. If they don't respond to customers who want their business, what kind of respond would you get for a problem call!

We are VERY pleased with the product and service we received. The response to our inquiry was almost immediate. The options and procedures were patiently and clearly explained and total costs available to help us make a decision. The fire logs were installed within "days" rather than "months" that were suggested by another firm. Two certified installers arrived on time, were polite and professional, and double checked that everything was completed to our satisfaction. A week later we requested a return visit to explain a procedure. Rhonda followed up the same day and we had a technician arrive within 24 hours as scheduled. The quality of the work and customer service was excellent.

I called Pro Gas to help repair my gas fireplace. They showed up on time and were very professional and did an excellent job. I would highly recommend them ... they even came back the next day to check to see if everything was working correctly. They will always have my business. Nice to support such a great local company.

ProGas was recommended to us to replace the log lighter in our wood burning/gas-fed fireplace. While trying to remove the old log lighter, the serviceman & his helper/apprentice not only broke the gas line inside the wall but then cut a large hole in the drywall next to the fireplace to attempt to get at it. When they couldn't get at the gas line that way, they were about to cut into the wall of fireplace shell when my husband stopped them. We had decided that they were incompetent and unable to properly complete/repair the work and told them to leave. We didn't hear a word from the company until an invoice was sent via email over 3 weeks later. Meanwhile, we had Fortis inspect the damage and the serviceman capped off the gas line - it was leaking! - and reported the fact that the company had failed to do so before leaving to the BC Safety dept. (We also had follow-up from the District of North Vancouver to ensure it was being repaired properly.) It was decided access would have to be obtained by cutting into the exterior wall of the house to repair the gas line. We then contacted another gas company and a home repair company and the damage was efficiently remediated at a further cost of over $700. If this company was not equipped and/or trained to do this type of gas fitting, we should have been informed and referred elsewhere. The lack of acknowledgement of their error and/or an apology and the failure to provide a solution and/or repair was very disappointing, but to be invoiced for $300 on top of all the added stress and cost was shocking. We do not recommend this company for any gas fitting repairs.
