I would open the balcony door and listen to the sounds of water. It was like being in a tropical wonderland. Peaceful and tranquil.

The sound of water/stream was very relaxing when you leave the balcony door open. Breakfast not included though. They were doing repairs or something so lot's of banging that started at 8am, couldn't sleep in.

The plants remind me of the ones I see in SE Asia. Very unique hotel and highly recommended. The only thing is the rooms could use a more detailed clean.

I am blown away by the underground river through the atrium. Check it out! I would definitely stay here again and would recommend this hotel to anyone.
K	Kristen Sims on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I would sadly avoid this hotel. It used to be really nice, but don’t let the remodelled lobby fool you. The rooms have not been updated since the 90s. We made the mistake of booking this hotel twice. A week a part. On our first visit we left behind our dog’s stairs. We called the same day to let them know and we’re told they’d be set aside for us. When we arrived for our second stay, there were no stairs. Ultimately our fault for leaving them behind, but make sure you don’t forget anything! The second stay was disastrous. The bed linens were dirty. One pillow case was absolutely filthy. The shower itself was dirty, and the shower curtain was torn. There was no temperature control in the room. The room was suffocatingly warm, and all we had was a knob on the wall that turned a fan on. It didn’t blow cool air. Just air which did nothing. It was very disappointing and uncomfortable stay. Drastically overpriced for the quality you receive. Pick a different hotel. You can get better for the same price!
L	Lia K. on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The hotel looks fantastic after the remodeling! We had our dog so we stayed in the dog friendly area and the room was very nice and mostly clean. A few spots on the faucet and a few stains on the bedsheets so that could have been better. Very comfortable beds though! One thing we did not appreciate were the room doors that you had to really slam to fully shut...so loud and we could hear people coming and going all night. Staff seemed tired and overworked so not that friendly. Good food at Don Cherry's but quite pricey for what you get. Gorgeous atrium and pool! Overall very fine.
J	John Lang on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed for 4 nights. The room felt damp and smelt a little musky. Above the AC vent was blackish, I could only assume it was mold and mildew, but not sure. The hot tub was under repair during our stay The middle bar area wasn't opened at all during our stay, would have liked to enjoy a beer there as it was a very nice area. The pool area was nice. Looks like they just renovated the lobby, it was very nice. They lock the main door to the rooms after a certain time that can be opened by the room key, which is great. I believe what I paid for the hotel was fair for what we got out of it. It is also connected to Don Cherry's Sports Grill, you opt out of getting your room cleaned. They will give you a $10 voucher to the restaurant.
