Front desk staff super friendly and helpful, however, having to be 'buzzed in' every time is a bit disconcerting as was being able to pay only with credit card or debit (cash not accepted). Rooms are very dated, and new mattresses are definitely needed. Linens & towels are spotlessly clean. Hardwood floors are a nice touch, but wear slippers - bare feet were black within 10 minutes of walking around. Air conditioner was unable to keep up with outside temps (36 degrees when I was there). Bathroom door did not close properly.

They have pet friendly rooms, but it States they have a "off leash" area for dogs but it is just a section off to the side by the creek. I did not feel comfortable letting my dog off as the river had open access as the fence was broken. Overall a good stay, but wouldn't classify it as super pet friendly.

Light switches are old style, shower isnt the best, and you might find a bug or two since there's a small stream nearby. But there isn't any foul smell and in general the rooms are pretty clean. I had a family room that was very spacious but probably could've used a desk. The owner is very helpful and provided everything we needed. Wifi was slow/not working, but the owner said an upgrade is in the works. No breakfast in the morning but there are plenty of options nearby. Overall I'd give a 3.5/5 but since that's not an options I'll round up to 4 ?
K	Krystal Guest on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place was outdated to say the least. It was clean enough but just felt dingy and icky. The courtyard area looked really nice, but it's downtown Vernon and we were pretty happy our car never got broken into during our stay. (There were plenty of homeless people setting up camp nearby for the night every time we drove in for the evening). The room itself had no windows, a weird "cover" for the patio door so no light came in at all on the bottom floor. One of our rooms had spider nests in behind the baseboard heater that was pulling off the wall, had many cracks in the brick wall that were separating and filled with caulking, and had an old school back tube TV. I will say the toiletries provided were thoughtful, they had qtips, makeup remover wipes, and various other nice things that most motels don't, and the water pressure in the shower was great. The staff was nice and accomodating. I would've paid $60-$80/night for this place, and nearly fell over when I saw it was $130/night (someone else booked it for us). All in all, I'm pleased we didn't leave with bed bugs and thankfully didn't have to spend hardly any time in the room besides sleeping.
T	This place Sucks on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely terrible harassed my family to the max! Cut off our wifi for no reason because they didn’t like us being there so I had to use 100% of my data,They also pretended that the ice machine was “broken” but in reality put a cup behind the dispenser so no ice would come out and constantly were harassing other little kids at the hotel.glad I left that place not only was the management bad but it was constantly filled with druggies from the 7 eleven across the street
E	Erica M. on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Filthy! I slept with hoodie and long pants on in July because it was so gross! The room stank, and the mattress had it's own unique odour. I think housekeeping must've not made the budget for that month, because it was disgusting. Pool area was great, but that was the only good thing. My family has been coming here for 3 generations, but this was our last stay. Very disappinting!

A spider next in the bathtub train. Spider webs and cobwebs throughout. Very outdated. Needs some paint,Reno’s and cleaning love. Only reason for the ⭐️ is the owner.

I can say I was treated just as much as a friend when I first started staying there as I am now and it's not too often you find a place or management like that.
