l	len lees on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We booked the disability room and when we got there they wanted us to stay in another room that was not. After complaining we got moved. We booked two rooms one for us and one for a friend who also needed a disability room he had a scooter. They moved him upstairs to the 4th floor, when he got there the room key did not work so back down he went with his scooter and this new key did not work either but after the third try of going up and down it worked. In the morning his coffee pot was dirty and the coffee pot in our room did not work. There was a huge line up of people waiting to check in, when we came back an hour later the line up was still there.. Do you think understaffed???? The last time we stayed there it had a restaurant and a pub, NOT THIS TIME. We stayed there for this reason. They also had a list at the front desk showing extra charges to your bill if you needed any of these items. We will never ever stay there again. The new owners wrecked it for us.

ALSO, Amrit at the front desk was so incredibly helpful and friendly! he was such a gem & helped us with things that didn’t even portray to his job. truly respect the hospitality & care that went above & beyond/ was shown from this employee!

The room was clean and the hotel is well located for shopping and eating out and the price was fair. Being a budget conscious traveller, but still appreciating good accommodations, I would return if ever in Vernon again.

The rooms are clean, beds comfy, comes with comes of amenities, and best of all its cheap! We stayed in multiple hotels in Calgary over the years and this was absolutely the BEST PLACE!!

The water coming from our taps was brown when we first turned it on, but then after a while, it ran clear. We chose to not shower because of that. And the breakfast was 2 Dad's cookies, 2 granola bars and a fruit cup in a bag. But the bed was comfy and the room was relatively nice! Definitely an experience.

The fridge was cranked up the coldest temperature, freezing our kids breakfast food, ruining fresh fruit and vegetables. when telling hotel staff about it, they told me I should have checked this before putting food in...? really! don't staff usually turn them down when they clean between guests, to conserve energy? This place has also turned into a complete dump, your greeted by overflowing garbage cans at the main lobby doors. Empty cans and bottles outside of each room on the ground floor units. The complimentary breakfast is a joke too. A chewy bar, an oatmeal cookie, small OJ and fruit cup, all in a brown paper bag.. We were glad some breakfast diners were close by. the pool, hot tub are under renovations. I hear for around two years! So don't advertise that they're an open amenity. So if you like a cheap, dive-hotel this place may be for you. This will be our last stay and we won't refer this dive hotel to anyone.

The room was clean and modern; shower had good water pressure; bed was comfortable; TV, refrigerator and microwave worked well; staff are friendly and attentive. The grab bag breakfast was a nice bonus! We were a little hesitant after reading some of the reviews, but we ended up extending our stay to three days and had a very enjoyable time!
