★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Attended afternoon Tea at this fabulous historic house! Tea with dainty sandwiches and sweets were SO good. Very satisfying. Tour of house was very interesting!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was so much fun. Came for Mother's Day and had a lovely historic tour. The food was good. Be better to have more sandwiches and less sweet in my opinion. But was good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had both my sister's wedding and my mom's birthday at Mackie. Both events were a huge success as the venue offered a stunning backdrop and plenty of green space for the guests. Logistically, the parking, set-up, and access to washrooms were very easy. The staff were organized, accommodating, and flexible (particularly during COVID-19). I cannot recommend Mackie enough for your next special event!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As the Mackie House is a part of History; COVID-19 will also make its mark in time. We enjoyed our visit today as Valerie made sure the site was sanitized and safe. We were very intrigued with the craftsmanship of the home and all the original pieces of art hung on the walls to enjoy. Valerie was well versed in describing the family history and sharing some of their stories. It was a great afternoon!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 6 of us booked to do a tour of the Mackie house and were delighted with the experience. Thank you Valerie for showing us such a unique look into the lives of the Mackie's and the architecture of the time. Your stories made the place come alive for us. We were a family of young and old who all enjoyed the tour. It was so fun to talk at dinner about our favorite parts. I do recommend that you phone and make an appointment.
