I’ve been living at Portfolio for over five years and I just recently changed suite! Mariana did such an amazing job with the move! She’s readily available and replies to emails within minutes. Eduardo is also amazing he fixes any building issue I have within the same day. Love living in Portfolio and would recommend it to any of my friends.

I've called Portfolio my home for 4 of 5yrs in Calgary now (from TO), and have nothing but great things to say about the building and staff. Mariana and her team are the most amazing management staff I've had the pleasure to deal with, especially in comparison to another building I lived in here for the other year. The rent prices are VERY reasonable and the building is very well maintained. I highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a new place to live!

I love it here! My partner and I renewed our lease and have been here for over a year! I’ll start off by saying the location of this place is great! It’s probably less than a two minute walk from our Favorite bar. And within 15 minutes of walking to basically anything you could need. Including the best places on 17th Ave and Stephen Ave. People you run into in the building are all mostly friendly and chill, lots of dogs in the building too. The walls are pretty much completely sound proof, I never hear any of my neighbors. The only time I’ve heard them is when I’m in the hallways. Mariana is awesome! Any time I’ve talked with her she’s been super friendly. Maintenance is super quick too. Building is clean, and modern. Fire alarm has only gone off once since I’ve lived here. One of the more affordable places to live downtown as nice as it is here. I’ve noticed most of the negative reviews for this place are from people who don’t even live here, which is unfortunate. Because it really is a nice place!

I've lived in Portfolio for two years now and I have nothing but great things to say! 1. The property management of the building is superb. Eduardo (maintenance) immediately attends to issues (I'm talking within an hour of submitting a service request) and will do whatever he can to get external contractors in right away. He is SO kind and professional. Bentall Green Oak should do whatever they can to keep him cause he's the best *cough cough*. The building overall is very well maintained and managed which I credit Mariana for. Since I've moved in I've barely dealt with Mariana because there are never any issues that would need to be addressed! 2. Location is ideal. You're close enough to walk to all of the "it" areas of downtown (17th Ave, Stephen Ave, Mission, The Saddledome/Stampede etc) but you're far enough way that the noise levels are good and the streets aren't crazy or sketchy at night. The restaurants and shops around the building are a little bit fancier so you avoid the 18 year old party scene. 3. The pricing is spot on. I always say to my friends that I consider Portfolio the cheapest, nice building in downtown Calgary. Can't beat the prices anywhere else. 4. Other tenants are very friendly. Overall, the building is very friendly. I would say the demographic is mostly 25-35 year old young professionals. Everyone is respectful and kind. I've personally never had any issues with noise as the walls are solid. You only ever hear people when they are in the hallway. Are the elevators sometimes annoying? Yes. There are two elevators in the building so the last and first weekend of every month when people are moving in and out the elevator wait can be slow. But given that there aren't a ton of units per floor and its only 25 storeys I find the wait time is still significantly better than any of my friends in neighbouring downtown apartments.

I've lived at Portfolio for over two years and in two different units. I love living here! Not only is the building in the perfect location downtown and the building is in excellent condition, but the office staff are amazing. They are why I've chosen to live here over other apartment buildings alike. Plus the neighbours are friendly, the amenities always clean and they organize cool events every now and then for neighbours to meet each other. All my friends love to visit because it is a cool building to live in.

I have been living at Portfolio with family for the last 3 years and it really felt like Home. Mariana, Lorena, Eduardo are absolutely fantastic, very friendly and helpful. The building is very well maintained and any issue is promptly addressed. Location is close to DT core and C-train. We have loved it here and would highly recommend Portfolio building to anyone looking for a new place to live. Thank you!

I moved in a month ago and I was very impressed by the service of the team Mariana and Eduardo. They are v professional and stay on top of everything. The building is kept v clean. Mariana was v helpful from the contract signing to the move in experience. She went the distance to accommodate me. When ever there are basic maintenance issues Eduardo is quick to come and fix it. Based on the other reviews, folks stayed here for years and now I understand why. Pls keep it up!

Portfolio’s 1 bedroom floor plans match my taste, perfect for a single person. It’s so hard to find a similar style elsewhere, where for a 500 sq ft apartment, you get a 4 pc ensuite bathroom, in-suite laundry, stainless steel appliances, gas stove, quartz countertop and island, walk in closet, balcony, and very central location close to restaurants and bars. Been here for 18 months. Tried to ask many times if they could let me know when there’s a similar unit that might become available in higher floors, but haven’t heard anything from them for months.
