Don’t be fooled by this β€œmodern” interior.. management doesn’t care about you at all. No hot water, no heat for weeks.... I filed 5 work orders and nothing was done until AFTER a pipe burst and ruined everything. I had to pay out of pocket for a hotel because I was told there were no open units..... in the elevator a rental agent was showing a possible tenant untils and mentioned that there were 20 available!!! I was lied to.. and put out because of something out of my control! DO NOT RENT HERE, LOOKS CAN BE DECEIVING!!

Absolutely disgusted on how I have been treated to be living here. Being harassed and threatened to be taken to court for money I dont owe and other staff there telling me its a mistake but no one seems to have fixed it. Have maintenance men entering my apartment without notice or permission from me, as they are suppose to be scheduled a different day. Absolutely disgusted. If you want privacy in your "own home" then do not live here

WORST, most incompetent management that I have ever encountered. While the modern aesthetic of the loft units are impressive, the rest of the building and the company managing it (Timbercreek) is a joke. The elevators are constantly broken and the intercom system to buzz guests in hasn’t worked for a year and a half. Do not rent here. Find anywhere else.

Would have given negative if there was an option available by google. Timbercreek Communities, you guys need to do a better job at hiring people who are supposed to represent the quality of services you guys aim to provide. Their behaviour says a lot about the management and definitely leaves an impression on people who come there looking for a comfortable living. Terrible experience meeting the Timbercreek Communities representative at 123 10th Ave location. The person called herself JENNIFER, was more than unfriendly, blunt and harsh in her communication with us. She opened up with a very rude look, followed with a rude statement. Instead of letting us know (upon asking) what does the rent look like for a one-bedroom unit, she gave us a weird glare and then asked us very bluntly "would you pay $2000 monthly?" Well yes, if you have such apartments, that are worthy enough and more importantly if there were well-behaving representatives available to greet. But irony is you don't even have a single unit that officially has $2k as its monthly rent, so what was she thinking while making a comment like that?? After which she takes us on a tour, where she does not talk to us most of the time, except for asking us where we live and how many people we have in the family. And upon saying two, she got so surprised, that an instant 'ooowh' came out of her mouth. Then she does not even open the gym and party-room for us to see, neither showed us the parking area. And at the end, gives that weird look again and says, you have to have minimum '$xx" income annually to be eligible. Well lady, I laughed on the way you asked that question with that stupid stare at us, because my husband alone earns three times more than that (by god's grace). Points she made were not wrong, behaviour she showed was VERY WRONG. Anyways, I took my husband to see this place, though he was super busy, but after getting such an amazing welcome, we are never going to rent with them ever!! I still don't understand what caused her to treat us like that, was it my head cover or my skin colour, that made her to assume that we can not earn a good income, or we don't deserve to use gym or we have a family of unlimited persons trying to squeeze in a one-bedroom apartment???

Last minute notices, one elevator has always been out of order, the walls when moving in my suite was disgusting, people on my floor always leave their garbage bags in the corner of the garbage chute room.

Had the worst experience trying to apply for this place. The application took over 5 days to process and once it was they decided to let me know I needed a guarantor without any reason and without any β€œobligation to provide a reason” even though I had two streams of income. Were very unprofessional about it and did not handle it well. We were already short on time and they knew that but yet still took days to process the application and let me know that I needed a guarantor way after when I was waiting on approval. They also said that they β€œknow times are tough because of Covid” yet they have no issue discriminating based on jobs and incomes. Would not recommend.

This is a great place to live if you want management that doesn't look after you and security that literally do nothing. Also a good place to live if you enjoy having your mail stolen. I lived here for a year, 7 months of that I had a non stop buzzing in my apartment. I filed several "maintenance reports" as they tell you to do. Half the time the maintenance crew didn't show up, and when they did, they made jokes about how annoying it must be to live there. I could go on and on about the problems I had living here (heat not working, weights going missing from gym not being replaced, in suite laundry not working, poor communication etc.) But my best advice would be to find somewhere else to live. For the price they charge for the suites you can find MUCH BETTER. Would leave less than 1 star but can not.

One star is honestly gracious. I wouldn’t even recommend living here to my worst enemy. The air conditioning constantly broke, the ceiling was always leaking, only one elevator worked while I was living there and it was constantly undergoing maintenance. Hazelview staff consistently lied to me throughout my one year lease (for example, they informed me there was bike storage when there was none) and also never informed me that there were stairs accessible from outside the building- I was informed 8 months into my lease by a different tenant who was shocked I was never given the stair keys. The units are beautiful looking but are not worth it. Save yourself the trouble and live elsewhere. And if you decide to live here, don’t trust a single thing Hazelview staff tell you. Timbercreek may have changed their name to Hazelview but their service as a property management team remains awful.
