Cafe Med was established in 2002 being the first Middle Eastern Restaurant & Shisha in Calgary. Cafe Med has built a reputation for its Pizza, Cheesy Lasagnas, and Shawarma Bites over the years. We have recently added a catering section to our business offering deal for up to 15 people.

It seems the staff care more about their own likes than the customers, I asked the server to lower the volume of the music and he said “after this song” I couldn’t hear my friend who was sitting directly in front of me. The employees use the music as their own personal speakers instead of thinking if the customer is even enjoying it. As someone who’s been coming to this place for 3+ years. I feel my voice is not being heard, they truly care about themselves than the customer. Most severs are hanging behind the counter instead of checking with customers to see if they need anything. The quality of this places has truly diminished, I’ll be back in a month to see if things have changed. Not going to give this place my business when it’s just a hang out place for the employees

All of them were great, although lamb was kind of dry for my taste and how I'm used to it (Persian style). Also, they've got reasonable prices. Be aware that they are relatively late with preparing the order!

I wish if there is a corner for people who don't smoke or struggle with the smell. It is a loud music place so if you don't tolerate loud environment it is going to be difficult for you. The size of the Konafa is pretty good and I would say it is good to share with the amount of sweetness. Price wise was over the average. I gave 4 stars because they serve the coffee in no time and it tooks them around 15 minutes to bring the konafa, by that time our coffee was totally cold. My advice if you want to enjoy your drink with the Konafa ask to have them together ❤ ? service was good and the place is really neat! Update? Giving back the last ? ? We visited again to try the food and I am so pleased with my visit ☺ We had mix grill and Cheese, Zaater Manaqeesh and Arabic Booza cocktail. My husband had two of the drink because he liked it soo much. For the first time for a while I am so happy with the Mix Grill, it was similar to the one in the back home. It was tinder and flavourful. We had a great time, our host was awesome guy treated us warmly and surprised us with desert on the house. The desert was something beautifully presented and spectacular taste! It was Ferrero Rouche Ice-cream cake and this something you should try absolutely ? ?
