On July 14, 2020 we eagerly visited your clinic. We were advised by our local health professionals that there was a" top notch" Neurologist who worked out of your clinic on Tuesdays. We were referred to this neurologist in order to help my daughter put an end to her debilitating migraines which have disrupted her life for the past 2 years. My daughter came out of the appointment full of hope. This Neurologist was everything she hoped for! Knowledgeable, caring and sympathetic. She put a plan into action for therapeutic botox injections which required approval from my daughters private insurance company. We were told it should take about 2 weeks. Around August 4, I called the clinic for an update and was told there was no update. One week later (Aug 11), I called again and was told by the receptionist that she would email the doctor. Yet another week passed (Aug 18) and still no news so I called again, offering to pay for the service, if perhaps this was causing the delay. The receptionist looked in my daughters file and suggested that perhaps the Neurologist had forgotten to contact the insurance company and that she would send her another email. Once again, I suggested that we would pay for the service. Another week went by (Aug 25) and I called again, the receptionist informed me that she thought there was news, but would check her emails and call me back. When I hadn't heard from her in 24 hours I called yet again to be told that there was no news. Discouraged, I asked for another appointment hoping that we could just start over. She passed the phone to her colleague who firmly informed me to STOP calling, that she would call me when there was any update so to STOP calling and did not give me an appointment! This is now 6 weeks after our initial consult and meanwhile my daughter is still suffering with her condition. Obviously there is some sort of miscommunication in this office if receptionists can't get an answer from a doctor who works in the same office. If this is so, what would it take for the receptionist to speak to the doctor face to face! We are losing the hope we once had of seeing this "top notch" Neurologist with NO help or follow-up from your clinic. During these difficult times, a little compassion from your clinic would have been appreciated.

Always a great experience. The best Doctors. Excellent appointment system. Very polite and efficient administrative assistant. Bilingual service. Very easy renewal of prescriptions (via fax) with main pharmacies.

Truly thankful to Dr. Joe Saliba! Thanks to his excellent operation, my right ear finally has a eardrum. I lost my right eardrum since a burn at the age of 2. These year I have been suffered by ear infection and it bothers me that I cannot swim. I even need so some protection during taking a shower in case to not let the water into my ear. I have consulted many professional experienced doctors before I met Dr. Joe Saliba. Other doctors either told me they cannot make a new eardrum or told me I have to keep my ear dry for at least one year, which it was impossible to achieve. I am extremely lucky to meet Dr. Joe Saliba. I really hope everyone who is suffering same issues like me can find a good operator doctor like Dr. Joe Saliba. It only cost me half day surgery and 2 weeks recovery period, and here I am, having a new eardrum and having no fears of water now!!

Note to all: If you find yourself suddenly without hearing in one or both ears, I implore you to go see an ENT specialist ASAP. It is vital to get treated 2-3 weeks after the initial occurrence as it will present the most favourable success rate for improvement. TL;DR - I had a condition called Sudden Sensorineural Hearing Loss (SSHL). This clinic provided me with quick and timely appointments with the ENT specialists to accurately diagnose and treat my SSHL. Particularly, a huge shoutout to Dr. Joe Saliba - a kind, thoughtful, and vigilant physician who went to great lengths to provide the correct course of treatment in a very timely manner. He goes out of his way to make me feel comfortable (especially in a scary hospital setting!) and provides his medical expertise in a very honest, straightforward, but compassionate way. Out of nowhere, I lost my hearing in my right ear and knew that something was wrong. The following day, I went to a walk-in clinic hoping to find answers, but to no avail. Next, I went to the MUHC ER, and after waiting for 10 hours, they simply asked me to see an ENT specialist. Taking my health into my own hands, I made appointments with various ENT clinics across Montreal - most were booked and did not have any free slots until months after. While this clinic also did not have any free slots, when I simply explained my situation (and the severity of the condition), they quickly contacted me, found a free slot, and allowed me to see the doctor in 2 days. One thing I appreciated from Dr. Joe was that he scheduled my treatment days after my initial meeting with him, rather than waiting several months. The timely treatments at CHUM and all the doctors and nurses there were both effective and reassuring. I had to take oral prednisone medication (~14 days) and had 3 appointments for inner-ear steroid injections. At the end, those treatments proved successful as my hearing on the right ear improved drastically. My hearing is still not perfect, but it has drastically improved due to the timely diagnosis and treatment. Many people end up not getting their ear checked out quickly as they may believe it is not serious or it is due to a buildup in earwax. Going to see a walk-in clinic to verify it is not a build-up in earwax can be a great first step. If it is not a buildup in earwax, setting up an appointment with an ENT specialist is essential. Explaining your situation (i.e suddenly losing hearing) would almost always result in a follow up by the ENT or their clinic, as SSHL is an emergency medical condition. The ENT, if aware of your condition, should be in contact with you quickly.

Dr.Joe Saliba is one of the most professional doctors I have ever met. I got referred to him for a problem in my right ear. I had a hole and was sent to have surgery by my previous doctor. Dr.Joe followed up with me for months with a clinical procedure which healed my ear completely and avoided me from going in surgery. Big thank you to Dr.Saliba. The staff at the reception are very welcoming as well and the clinic is clean and organized. First time I can say I really liked my visits to the doctor.

USELESS ENT. Tinnitus for 7 months, tells me it will go away. Finally I couldn’t stand it anymore went to have acupuncture, come to find out I have issues with my kidneys. How can these people even have a license to practice medicine??? Also, I have Chronic sinusitis, the “dr” looks in my nose says “ I wouldn’t touch it”. so I’m supposed to live with constant ringing in my ear until TBD and my nose that I cannot breath out of, the same nose that at night I stop breathing isn’t a valid reason to be fixed. These are the same people that either don’t care about your well being or just give you a pill to fix the problem. THE WORST.

Worst service, I waited 30min to talk to someone and she hanged up on me! I understand they are short staffed but there should be a system in place to at least confirm that the requisition has been received. This can just be an automatic message saying we have received it and we will call you to give you an appointment. And hanging up on a patient suffering from extreme symptoms is really not professional especially when your home page on your website says: Nous croyons fortement qu’un service en soin de la santé peut se faire encore de façon humaine, sincère et réconfortante. À la Polyclinique Centre-Ville, à côté de la compétence, notre caractéristique est la qualité d’écoute.
