About Pita Pit
When Pita Pit began back in 1995, Braveheart was Best Picture, Seinfeld was all the rage, the Worldwide Web was just taking off and the DVD was new—and a major innovation.
So was the idea that drove Nelson Lang and John Sotiriadis to open their first Pita Pit in Kingston, Ontario.
Today’s trend toward healthier eating was still a long way off, but Nelson and John were ahead of the curve. They were convinced the time was right to offer a fresh, healthy alternative to traditional high-fat, high-carb, high-calorie fast foods. Their Lebanese-style pita sandwiches packed with fresh veggies, grilled meats and zesty sauces were an instant hit with the college and university crowd, especially since the store stayed open late—well into the wee hours of the morning, making it perfect for students taking a break from studying or coming home after a night of partying.
Within two years, franchise stores had begun opening right across Canada. Two years later, they were opening in the USA where the concept took off immediately with consumers of all ages.
Today, there are more than 650 Pita Pit stores in North America, Europe, Asia, the Middle East and Asia-Pacific.
Clearly, Pita Pit’s “fresh thinking, healthy eating” motto is an idea whose time has come.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When entered this place, lady came from back with the big disappointment on her face. It felt like she just wanted to sit at the back and we disturbed her peace. After ordering, another lady cameout from the back with ear pods while talking on the phone. She started preparing our order. She wasnt paying attention to our choices and wanted us repeat over and over again. Its because she was talking to someone over the phone while preparing our order.
I can go on and on, but the botom line is this is the WORST CUSTOMER service we have ever received .Owner should do something about this.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have given this location a few tries but this time definitely will be my last . If you’re in a good mood please don’t walk in there and order food , you’ll regret it . Worst customer service !
Ordered two kids meals , she hands me 1 bottle of apple juice , I asked where Is the other one ? She’s like Umm actually we are out of the juice box so I’ll give you one bottle instead . Mmm excuse me ? I paid for two drinks , give me two drinks .. I’m not going to have my two kids sipping on the same bottle of juice so they can share back splash sorry hun . She then hands me another bottle and let’s me know this is way more expensive than a juice box with attitude like it was my fault . LOL sounds like you need to place a bigger order next time .
Blows me away how this women still works there ..

Went to pay with a gift card and since it did not have a barcode on it, the worker said they didn't know how to put a gift card through with no bar code and made me pay another way. This should be reviewed prior to workers being allowed to work by themselves.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely Horrible service !!!! I have been to this restaurant twice, and I should have known better not to go after my first visit. Long story short, we ordered 2 adult meals and a kids meal to go, but because child was not with me I was not aloud to get a kids meal ??? Anyway I tried arguing because it made no sense, but it wasn’t going nowhere so I just paid for an extra adult meal for my 3 year old. Second visit was today .. same women, I asked for napkins and she rolled her eyes.. then asked if she could cook the kids meals first and she lost it and said I should have told her when I paid ?? Why didnt I tell her ? I had to explain myself 4 times saying I wasn’t the one that ordered it was my boys and.. I was taking care of my kids at the table and What difference would that make .. nothing was on the grill yet. She actually started getting upset with me and laughing when I’m talking to her. NEVER AGAIN , I felt downgraded and humiliated..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not exactly sure how this place is still running. I agree with everyone else. The two girls working at this location look so unhappy. They looked cheesed when I came through the door. Ingredients weren't fresh, soggy. Not a good eating experience. They definitely need to step it up.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Easily the worst pita pit I've ever been to. The guy who took our order was super friendly but the two ladies assembling the pitas were awful. Extremely sparce on the ingredients and got upset when I asked for some more lettuce. Came out with a $12 that's 95% bread.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As an explorer, here's my spin... Hungry for lunch, two ahead of me, quick service, generous fare. Dine in was allowed with proof of vaccine. Meat was heated on grill fresh and whole pita warmed by sandwich grill.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When you order a regular sized pita it's meant to feed an regular adult. You shouldn't have to go somewhere else after ordering just because the amount of veggies was so limited.
I kid you not, if you ask for something like tomatoes and then receive literally 5 pieces in the pita, that is hilariously sad.
Either it's a owner issue/employee issue I'm not sure but someone has decided to limit how much is given when ordering and it's not acceptable.
I know this from experience as I've worked at a Pita Pit in the past.
Service was polite but servings were WAY under acceptable discrepancy.
