Name Bonnie Skoropad. I found reception to be very kind and helpful and Dr Kassem to be very knowledgeable and kind. I did not have to wait to see her more than a few minutes on my first appointment not sure what the bad reviews are about. Even had a consult over phone because was not feeling well enough to come for appointment. I will continue to to go to Pineridge in future.

Be careful to know what the doctor writes in your file, things can get misinterpreted in the translation and the wrong information can be passed along. Make sure you know what your doctor writes in your file (warning). The staff treats you like a number - not much humanity in this clinic.

Great patient care here. They make things easy, and straightforward. Really impressed with the receptionist - she remembered who I was and made me feel welcome and cared for.

This review is for the front end staff, not the doctors. I arrived at my last appointment on time but they told my doctor I was late, so she saw other patients before me. Actually she didn't see me as I left after waiting an hour. She called me on the way home and told me what they said. Absolutely ridiculous and incompetent front end staff. Stay away. This also led to me not picking up a perscription on site and since I haven't been able to get it yet, I've stopping taking it completely.

The Pineridge medical clinic is the most unprofessionally run clinic in my experience as well as the experience of friends and relatives that I initially referred them there. Office manager Arzu, Braggs of being in love with Dr Abounaja, and he loves the attention. So much so, he has set her up with a wellness clinic across the way from his medical clinic. One day Arzu decided to give me the grand tour of her new found fame. As we walked through room after room, there was a young sad looking girl of around 10 or 12 years old with glasses on just sitting by herself in a room. Arzu felt the need to blurt out, oh, that’s my kid, as she disgustingly looked away from the child and continued on bragging about her β€œNew Business”, very unprofessional. Hasna the receptionist, is so unprofessional, rarely ever answers the phone. I am on pain medicine and one time I was advised to call one week before my medication ran out to get it refilled. I started calling on a Monday, as time allowed during my work day. I called back every day that week in panic mode,to no avail. Finally, that Friday Hasna answered the phone. When I asked to speak with Dr Abounaja as he had instructed, I was told he was on holidays until the following Friday or Saturday, I panicked, I then asked who was going to fill my pain medication prescription, I was told nobody. Could as it had to be Dr Abounaja. I slept on ice packs for the following week at one point waking up with frost bite on my back. I finally decided that I had enough of the run around from Pineridge Medical centre. I found a new doctor and had the doctor request my medical records. I then received a phone call from Hasna informing me that if I wanted my records it would cost me $150.00 in cash please. The amount of errors that occurred from β€œDr Abounaja”, cost my sister her medical financial aid as Dr Abounaja incorrectly filled out her forms wrong. It cost my best friend his motorcycle license as Dr Abounaja did not include that class with his class 1, my friend did not have the time to return to Pineridge Medical as he needed to renew his class 1 that day. I personally experienced the same error trying to renew my license after standing in line at the registry office for 3 hours during the pandemic only to be told that Dr Abounaja did not fill out the class of license (1-6) therefore forcing me to go back to the drs office and have the form corrected. In conclusion, Pineridge Medical is the most unprofessional clinic I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Stay as far away from this clinic as possible if you know what’s good for you!

This review is for the front staff only. I must say its the clinic with the most rude staff on duty. Be it on phone or in person the front staff or reception is rude and very unprofessional. I am forced to give 1 star as i dont have the option to go lower than this otherwise the reception doesnt even deserve 1 star. Everytime they are being called over the phone they behave as if they are the only pharmacy available in Calgary and the attitude with which they behave is not at all what a patient is looking for. On the contrary the Doctors are very professional.

Don't waste your time folks! An appointment was made to have a pregnancy test, on day of appointment there was an issue regarding a sniffly nose. My daughter was not permitted inside the building and was told to wait outside. The Dr. would call. We wait.... they call and my daughter explains that it's a runny nose, no cough, no fever... STILL not allowed in. So, our time is wasted, the inconvenience and lack of cooperation leaves much to be desired for PATIENT CARE. Why on earth would you sign up for a job to help sick people if you cannot even manage to have them in the building. Good grief.
