★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Yeah pet stores now are a big no no for me. I don't know how but like it's always hard to ask for help. They either brush you off or don't know what they are doing. Thier ball python which is now sold was so skinny. It was seriously underweight. Plus I waited 20 mins just to get help with a bearded dragon

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My go-to place for pet supplies and I do drive from Airdrie here because they have stuff other places don't! But what they could benefit from is a self-check, because the check-out process is so slow it creates lines stretching to the back side of the store even with two registers running.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Terrible grooming experience. We have been to over 10 petsmart locations in two different provinces over the last 12 years and this was by far the worst experience I have had. I wish I had read previous reviews of their grooming dept. Terrible customer service and terrible ability to do their job! Don't bother going here if you have the option to take them literally anywhere else!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Store is clean and doesn't have any odors as you enter the store like many other pet stores(especially the big ones).
Staff is truly interested in animals. Fish are well cared for and not just sold to make money. They want to know your tank is ready first.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I asked to pet and or play with the cats from their rescue program as I felt bad for how bored and miserable they looked. It was a dead Tuesday afternoon only one other customer in the entire store. They said no. Apparently no enrichment is allowed they have to be cooped up and unhappy. The impenetrable glass cages for the cats were way in the back of the store and the entire time I was there a kid was banging on the glass of the cats. At petland they have them up at the front of the store so the staff can keep an eye on them and could have seen and therefore stopped what that kid was doing. They also have them in wire cages that open so you can give the cats cheek scritches and interact with them much better. I sometimes even open the cage and pet them and help break up their day with love and pets. This is in plain sight of the staff and I have never been told not to. I'm really unimpressed with PetSmart I don't really like what I saw today.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst nightmare to try for the first time for grooming and what it turns out?!! Sending to emergency with cut and end up for surgery to cut the toe. Its very traumatic for seeing my daughter cry so bad and seeing my pup with worst haircut ever! I would not recommended 100%. How I wish I could leave reciew without any star! Not even 1star. ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I drive from Airdrie to that specific store every week because of their excellent customer service! Staff is always super kind & friendly.. and you never have to wait forever to get some help. Also, their live crickets, worms, etc, are always alive/ in good condition. I had issue with other stores because of their dead stock, but never with this one which makes it worth the drive! :) I definitely recommend them.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Brought my standard golden doodle here for his first grooming experience. Max is a high energy 11 month old pup who is very cautious and hesitant when it comes to new things. Brooklyn was super caring and gentle to make him feel at ease. First time was a bath & trim and second time was a full hair cut. Brooklyn did an amazing job both times and the staff were friendly. The store is well stocked and tidy. Definitely going back for future grooming sessions and pet supplies.
