★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Honestly my favourite pet store. I travel from Langford to go here. Amazing and knowledgeable staff, and a really great selection of quality products.
Heather was especially helpful for us in figuring out a diet for our picky puppy - she wasn't biased to any particular style of feeding, just educated us and helped us find the best choice for our pup.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The cashier was super friendly. She showed me all the sloth dog toys (our toddler loves sloths haha) we dont have any pets, but my daughter loves pet stores ?
I ended up buying a small lambchop squeak toy which is soft and fits in my purse great for anxiety and a grounding technique. My toddler enjoyed the dog beds, and checking out the doggie carseat and the dog display. I gotta say, the pink donut sleeper for dogs is adorbs. Would definitely go back. Not just for self, but for if we get a future pet.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff at this pet store are amazing. I literally can't say enough about them, especially Marissa and Danielle. For the last 8 years my dog and I go in there twice a week to buy treats or visit. I got a phone call a few days before my dog's 14th birthday from Marissa asking if we could come in on the special day. When we went in that day we were greated with smiles and lots of happy Birthday Charlie Murphy! They then gave him a bag of his favourite treats and a birthday card signed by all of the staff. It was amazing. Marissa is always patient, gentle and so kind (she has purchased a bag of his favourite treats with her own money as he has sensitivities and can't have the ones the store gives out). She puts aside his treats when a shipment comes in so they are there for us when we go in. I have never asked her to do this, but from the one time they were sold out when I went in, she puts them aside. I don't think I've ever had this level of customer service. She is wonderful. Danielle
always has a big smile and goes above and beyond to help. They keep us coming back all of the time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Exceptionally experienced staff who love to assist! I went in one day (a few years back, but the service is still excellent today) when sadly, our cat was in the final stages of cancer and had stopped eating. Upon entering Pets West, two clerks asked me if I needed assistance. I started to tell them my story, then my emotions kicked in. Realizing the urgency, they immediately began to help me in choosing something that he could eat. They even got another staffer to help... the service I got was amazing! You just don’t get service like that ANYWHERE! It was so appreciated.
