★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fairy clean store, most animals appear well taken care of except the bettas. Almost half of them seemed dead at least 2 were definitely dead and one was missing all of its fins.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The store is very nice, looked like it was renovated recently. All the animal cages were very clean and they have a great selection of products. They also had quite a few animals and products that aren't commonly seen in chain pet stores, so that was very cool. They also seem to have brought in some more lower cost brands, which is very nice to see.

The staff is lovely, very friendly but I did find some issue with getting accurate and knowledgeable information for reptiles.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’ve been taking my dog here regularly for years - never had a problem. That is until my last visit he came home to us shaking, visibly upset, he wouldn’t eat or drink. We started to get worried so we took him to the vets - they tell us he’s having an anxiety attack. We did whatever it took to stop his attack but this has never happened to him before. We booked him with a new groomer because our usual groomer (Lana ) wasn’t available. We didn’t catch the name of the groomer who did it and when we asked they told us they don’t keep a history of who does the grooming. I find this super hard to believe since you book your dog with a specific groomer each time. My point is if your dog is new to being groomed don’t take him here. I have no idea what they did to him but my poor dog is traumatized AND has to take anxiety medication now!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Aside from letting us walk out with 2 flying fox for a 40 gal (there should only be one flying fox per 1 metre squared floor space because they are so dominant over their territory) brought 1 back after he damaged the juvie bala shark fin. The staffers are awesome in this store. The management are understanding and helpful. If they don't have a live variety you prefer they can order in some. Super clean and lovely tanks. Hi Jimmy! (He is their resident puffer fish.) At $250 I hope he stays for my viewing enjoyment ?
