I'm sure Buddy didn't like it much but the care he received from reception to operation to release was really a joy to see their attitude towards all the animals. They truly treat them like their own. And the cost was half the price l recieved from 2 other places. I say thank you so much for everything and Buddy says "Meow"!! ?? protect your pets!! Get vaccinated and we will beat this thing! Even our animal family members are at risk!! ?? ?
M	Mary-Rose Daigle on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My son took his dog to Ptbo Pet Hospital for routine visit and vaccinations in 2019. Her shots were not due for renewal until 2022. A few days ago, his dog ripped a claw badly and needed to see a vet as the foot was clearly infected. He booked an appointment 4 days away as that was all they had... on the day of the appointment, Ptbo Pet Hospital called and cancelled his appointment because the dog's shots were overdue (by 1 month and we received no reminder or notification) and they decided they didn't have time to deal with the issue leaving us high and dry! We were extremely fortunate to be referred by a friend to Cavan Hills Veterinary Services who not only saw the dog SAME DAY (after asking to see photos of the injury and assessing it by email) but the TOTAL cost for injury + all vaccines was less than we paid at Ptbo Pet Hospital for just a routine visit!!! Absolutely DO NOT recommend this place... all they care about is $$ and don't care at all about the animal.... My son is on ODSP and can't afford to take a healthy pet in for routine annual visits unless there are issues. Cavan Hills Rocks!! Super professional and cost effective.

It's not right that you get a knot in your stomach knowing you have to call and she's the person you have to deal with.

Dr. Joe Muise spays and neuters all of our pets and does a fantastic job. I knew my animals would be in good hands as well. He spayed my smallest, a chihuahua, and when she was home and well I was over the moon happy. Thank You so much Dr. Joe Muise and the Peterborough Pet Hospital team!

The Vet Techs greeted us as we came in and were very friendly, answering all my questions and playing with my pup to keep her calm and free from agitation. 6 hours later I picked her up and she was still calm and happy. They wanted to arrange a free appointment for 2 weeks later to remove her sutures, but I declined because I don't live in the area. By the next day my pup was back to her old self.
