Soon as I walked in the store seemed very clean and the staff were very eager to answer all my questions. I asked if they had grooming services, they replied for now they have do it yourself grooming stations which they charge $10.00 for 30 mins. The station looked well maintained.

Love that I can go there and bath my dog with their tubs, shampoo, towels and hair dryer for $10 plus tax. Staff is helpful and friendly.

A really bad shopping experience! The attitude of the female staff was very rude! !My husband and I went there this afternoon, we were looking at a black cat in a cage, a young female staff (a short person)came to us with a very arrogant attitude and asked us to move for her, she wanted something. We're standing in a shopping aisle, but her attitude seemed to be that we were in the wrong position. Was this employee untrained? We won’t coming back to this store.

It's was my first time at this location after a fiasco at another location couple months back. I was there to give my pet a bath..( someone recommended me to this place if there is a need for a emergency bath) Being the first time was a bit nervous... It went ok ... I would say... The price under$12 for 45 mins...is fantastic. My only problem was there was no place where I could lock on my escape artist (my pet) when using the dryer outside the bathtub( and I am sure for many pet owners is that their pet's don't like the bath or the air dryer) .. so i had to dry him in the bathtub itself which defeated the purpose of the drying him after the bath?‍♀️ I wish Pet Valu could install short leash hook on the outside the bathtub where we can easily dry out our pets. The reason why I gave 3 star .. is the dryer nozzle was coming off tube... every 2 seconds and when I called for the assistant.. there was no reply. Will I use it again ... maybe if there is a emergency.... but this time I will bring own stuff if possible.

I have been going to this store since we brought our furry little one home over a year ago. It was unfortunate to see Lucas go but I'm sure he's missed as he is a genuine and helpful person. The ladies have been friendly and really know their stuff!! It's always a pleasure to see customers treated so well and a staff providing their service with care and compassion.

Went back to return an item I ordered online. I confirmed on the website first to make sure I can return online orders in store. The male cashier was insisting it wasn’t possible to return to same method of payment I used and can only be returned as store credit. He said, β€œI wouldn’t know how to even do it.” I asked if he can call his manager to see if he or she knows how to make this return if he isn’t sure himself. The employee rolled his eyes and said my manager knows as much as him. He wasn’t resourceful in figuring out how to do so. I tried to show him what it says on the site but he wasn’t very interested. He was suggesting I just return by shipping it back. I asked if that was the only way, why does the website state otherwise? He sighed and said β€œfine, I’ll call customer care”. He finally got an answer and was able to complete the return to my credit card. I was the only one in the store at that time. There was a female employee behind the counter as well, listening in but did not offer any assistance but gave me looks. I felt like I was just interpreting their quiet shift. Before I even stepped away from the counter (while folding the receipt and placing it back into my wallet), the male employee already had his back turned to me - leaning on one of the shelves - with his phone out. Clearly, I’ve upset him as I’ve interrupted his free time…. I’d give zero stars for customer service if I could. All the other visits I’ve had here, especially using the pet baths have been good experiences for me. Generally, the employees are nice too. To avg my review out, I give it 3 stars. It would have been 5 stars for me if it wasn’t the two employees working together on a quiet day that seemed miserable. Their attitudes need to be adjusted…. because it is definitely not a good look for pet valu.
