Extremely bad customer service on multiple occasions. The latest: stood outside and had a 12 minute conversation with the girl inside about the simplicity of receiving my online order i.e, "I'm here now, so let me pay you. You give me the dog food, and we'll go on with our day..." This was a hard concept for her. She managed to find every excuse to not do her job and make her customers life easier. So much for shopping local. This place no longer will receive my business.

Visited the store for the first time as a new pet owner wanting to buy all needed supplies for our new puppy.Staff member seemed to have very little knowledge about what she was selling. Repeated to ask us the same questions, obviously not listening to our answers the first time. Being the only customers in the store, she made it a point to inform us that the store was closing in 15 minutes. Needless to say we decided to leave our items behind and left right away to make sure the staff member could leave early!

It's happening to me on this Friday around 7, I saw a patient girl in your store, It was busy at the store and I did not expect that she will be that much nice to me, she talks to 3 people at the same time and answers the phone due. It just makes me shocked because she was nice and kind to every people and pet. It makes me happy to come back to store in the other day, next morning on Saturday I just go back to buy more treat for my dog, but that girl was not over there and other girls were there, I changed my mind about the store because I did not expect the Asian girl to spends the time behind the desk instead answers my questions, although the store looks messy and dirty, although the store was not that much busy and actually she does not have good behaviour with other customers too, she just ask them how can I help you, but she did not help them anymore, finally, I was looking for Fridays night girl to say thank you for your good and friendly behaviour. The other girls must try more to have a better attitude with customers. because that was not good to be that rude.

I just want to say "THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING YOU DO", as front line workers you all get to experience the worst. You guys are amazing, I have no complaints! Every time I walk through that door the staff is always welcoming and helpful. On Friday afternoon, while I was shopping food for my hamsters I couldn't help but listen to the conversation by the front. A woman kept raising her voice to the cashier, using a very entitled tone over a simple transaction. The way the woman spoke was aggressive and excessively threating. She kept calling her ignorant and recording everything the cashier did. I couldn't do anything at the moment but talking to the cashier after the woman left. Pet Valu Erb, thank you for your service to the community. You're very appreciated! I will be coming back. Keep the good work.

This location is convenient for us. When we got our dog Lucy 2 years ago, we shopped here for some of the things she needed so I knew they had something set up to bathe your pet. Today, I called ahead of time to inquire about their on-site dog washing station since I hadn't used it befor. The associate I spoke with on the phone named Eugene was incredibly polite and informative. She booked us in at a time that worked best for all. When i arrived with my dog, Eugene showed me around, how everything worked and was also super friendly with Lucy. To sum up the experience, it went seamlessly. The wash bay was super clean, and personally I needed this to be easy today. It wouldn't have been any of that without Eugene, seriously she made my day and I'm rarely impressed lol. Pet Value is lucky to have her as an associate, give this girl a raise!!. Thanks so much!.

I had a great experience in this store today. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. I forgot her name (so sorry!) but it started with a N. She was very helpful and I’ll definitely come back

As a first-time pet owner, I was looking to get some advice and supplies for my new cat before she arrived. When speaking with the staff member, she was hesitant in answering our questions and didn't really seem to be very knowledgeable. I didn't get any answers that I was looking for and ended up going to another store. It was only one staff member, and perhaps others are more experienced and knowledgeable, but I would expect all staff who are customer facing should have at least some minimum level of competency. There is a self-serve dog wash station available here for those customers looking for a location to bathe their pets. There seemed to be a reasonable selection of products available, and prices were on par with other pet stores.
