My family was not in the family home for about 2 months. Upon returning, we noted 2 voicemails from this company re: expiry of home insurance.
I called back, the sales agent (PEGGY) was VERY rude. She lectured me about how many calls they'd given us, how they've sent me registered mail etc. I explained to her that no one was home, out of the country. She continued to cut me off and lectured me. She said she'd have to check if insurance company will be willing to re-open and renew, and said she'll call back next day. I waited until 2:30PM the next day and called her. She THEN informed me that it wasn't possible.
- HORRIBLE customer service
- WHY NOT have a policy of gathering MORE information such as an e-mail address from client?
- WHY LECTURE clients?
- WHY NOT be practical - simply tell me YES there is solution, or NO please go elsewhere for solution.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The agent (Peggy) was not happy that questions are asked over the phone (we are pandemic!), rude answers to questions, and 'do whatever you want'-type of reactions. I give 2 just because my request has been partially resolved.

They have been wonderful in the situation, extremely helpful with genuine concern and care.
I may have to switch providers....

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went to Perpetual Insurance out of desperation as our insurance broker was taking appointments for the week after! We needed to transfer two cars right away, do the insurance...etc.
At Perpetual, Peggy helped us fill out the paperwork, explained the various components and options for the insurance, gave us sage advice on how we could save money doing this and that. and cracked the odd joke in the process. Aside from liking her joyful demeanor, I was very impressed by the fact she was more interested in saving us money than padding her commission.
I have insured many many cars in my life, dealt with all sorts of brokers but Peggy was special. She was friendly, genuine, and truly helpful. I told her she was going to be my broker going forward for all my insurance needs but she broke my heart and said she is retiring soon. I hope whoever occupies her chair takes a lesson or two from Peggy on how to build relationships with clients. Enjoy your retirement Peggy. I will miss you
