I was told by these morons that I failed and not to apply for a year, well, I don't think so I felt it a kick in the teeth! when I ask how or why I failed ? they said head office failed the results in 2 seconds ? I would recommend people go with their"great skills" and credentials to a place that is worthy of their respect, I will send a Letter to head office and file a report to BBB Broadway Labour Ready seems to like, demeaning workers and I think this Is absolutely ( Pathetic) Thank-You, Ron McKay
n	neon par on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff here is rude and immature. I was given a note on my file because I confronted the staff about lying to me about the wage before I got to the job. They knew how difficult the work was and likely that is the reason they felt the need to lie. I have worked very hard for labor ready despite all this and of all the offices I have been to this staff is simply undeserving and immature. I was accused of verbal abuse but I simply asserted the concerns and frustrations that me and my co-workers experienced that day, including the fact that one of the guys behind the desk outright lied to me about the wage, for which I was later accused of lying about!. The men here are mild compared to the older lady who works here, almost everyone has had to deal with her on a day-to-day basis and she really does not deserve her title because she is the reason people do not go back to that office. She treats everyone like they are the stupidest most incompetent person to have walked in there.

There used to be this lady called Betty that worked there and ruined people's experiences. She is long gone and the morale of the place has been lifted immensely. The reviews below pre-2017 are obsolete regarding staff. Jobsites: Warehousing, construction, and service work. Having worked at People Ready for 7 months now, I've had little "Bad Days" at the sites I've been sent to. You'll be fine as long as you do your part at the work site. Obviously if you're performing poorly, your supervisor may give you a bitching :) and/or a DNR (Do Not Return). How does it work?: Basically you arrive as early as 5AM. The earlier you arrive, the higher chance you get a job. If you arrive between 8AM - 12PM, the chance of you getting a job is based on faith and luck at that point. You then wait in a room with other associates. Have a drink, chat a storm, or go to sleep until you get called to the front. You go to work and hope you make it to the office before 6PM :). Do I recommend this place?: Yes! If you're short on cash and love working at different sites for different experiences, go for it! I don't know how it is long term since I've only been there for 7 months. You get paid the same day!

I went on many jobs and never had problems with the people I worked for. I only had problems with a couple of people in the office. There is an immature and ,lazy young lady who always seems to send people to jobs on wrong date or in the wrong location, then turns around and adds on workers files that the workers was unsuitable for job (which is a complete lie).The reason this is done(according to mark) is because they have to pay a minimum 2hrs to worker for showing up and having to come back to office and looks bad on the persons who sent out the worker (basically covering there butts on workers expense).This is just dirty business and should not be tolerated . Im not sure if district office or head office is aware of that ?but it should not be allowed to happen. These temp agency charge a big fee and pay almost close minimum wage to workers and have the nerve to mistreat and blatantly lie to workers to cover own tracks. Use and abuse of people in need.
