β β β β β Dr. Smal is simply the best. It has taken years to find a reliable family doctor and my wife and I will never change again. Been seeing him a few years now.
Great clinic, and always very thorough. Our newborn is always well looked after also.

β β β β β Dr. Small is our family doctor for almost five years now. He was in Greencrest before.. He is always welcoming and kind. Unfortunately, since he has moved to this clinic I avoid visiting him, even I need to because of the unprofessional and extremely rude attitude of one of the lady at reception.
She has the habit of shouting at the patients and avoiding them by staying on phone or on computer..

β β β β β My wife had an appointment scheduled at 10am 24th April and we had scheduled thos 6 weeks in advance for her prenatal. As we were on our way we got a phonecall from the clinic saying the Dr is running late could we come at 11am.. We had no problem as in the past we've always had to wait at minimum 30 mins after our appointment time to see the Dr.. We arrived at 11am sat around for another 30 mins and when I asked the receptionist that technically its been 1 hr 30 mins delayed instead of apologising she had the audacity to defend herself as its not her fault for the delay. Then she said theres 1 more patien infront of us so basically we will be seen around 12pm and i asked why did theu not just call us in for 12 instead of calling us 1 hour later just to make us sit here for another 1 hour?!?! People have other things to do in life and a Drs appointmwnt should not consist of a 2 HOUR WAIT TIME WHEN BOOKED 6 WEEKS IN ADVANCE. THIS PLACE HONESTLY IS THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL, UNRELIABLE AND UNORGANISED CLINIC YOU CAN EVER GOTO!!!!

β β β β β Dr. Smal is an excellent doctor ( this review has no reflection on the doctor but of the reception). However, trying to call the front desk to make an appointment is impossible. They are always, always away from their desks. I've been trying to call my doctor for weeks now and have had no luck. Very frustrating!

β β β β β Dr.'s Van Jaarsveldt and Badenhorst have been incredibly helpful and supportive doctors for my family for years, but I'm so frustrated by the front desk receptionist. Doesn't matter what time I call, it takes two or three tries at least to get through to her, if she picks up at all. She's always short with me when I do manage to talk to her, too.

β β β β β Dr.Smal is the only doctor I will see, as he takes the time to get down to what the matter is.
Yes the reception can be difficult sometimes, but it is what it is. Just don't call around lunch . That's the worse time to call allt of places.
A good doctor is worth the trouble.
