Legacy Sport Medicine is a multi-disciplinary health care centre located at
14 – 160 Meadowood Drive (across the street from the St. Vital Mall) in Winnipeg, Manitoba. We provide health care assessment and treatment focusing on musculoskeletal concerns. These services are provided for all ages, whether you are an elite athlete or a senior citizen. Our sport medicine physicians work in collaboration with athletic and physiotherapists, chiropractors, massage therapists, dieticians, orthotic specialists, and orthopedic surgeons.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went in there after being told by work friend, unfriendly wouldn’t even look at me when I entered. I had to ask of someone could help me. 4 of them there not one greeted. I have a word for them but won’t use it. Unprofessional front staff. Not friendly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I rolled my ankle recently and was referred to Legacy by a nurse practitioner. I was able to see them the next day. Dr Baydock looked after me and I was x-rayed, fitted with crutches and an air cast. All this was done in about an hour and a half. Superb care! Would recommend to anyone! Thanks to all the staff.

From appointment, xrays, exam and follow up- all well under an hour.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went in for a evaluation for a sports injury. I was assessed by a doctor, had x-rays taken had a review with again with the doctor and was out in 30 minutes. Very highly recommend visiting this clinic.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dr. Brar is honestly a joke of a physician. I was referred to her for serious issues, none of my concerns were listened to or addressed She didn't examine me beyond listening to my breathing and poking my shoulder. She implied that I was only there for pain medication, I told her I actually don't want pain meds at all. She then proceeded to hand me a blood requisition and didn't even look at my symptoms journal.
At the follow up appointment she told me it was all in my head and there is nothing wrong with me. She actually told me if my arms and legs go numb i should put on mittens. How do you have a license to practice?
My GP is disgusted, I'll be getting a second opinion because this doctor clearly has issues with some of the people who are referred to her.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I visited Legacy Clinic on October 21, 2021 for a same day appointment after calling in the morning.
I saw Dr. McKay after I sprained my ankle while indoor rock climbing the previous day. The clinic was efficient and they took me right on time. I first met with Steph, an athletic therapist, who did an assessment of my range of motion and sent me for X-rays, which can be done right in the clinic. The doctor then went over the X-rays with me and helped to ease my worries. He examined my ankle as well and confirmed that it was sprained. He gave me advice for home care, answered my questions and wrote me a prescription for physio therapy. The clinic also has a store on site that sells braces and crutches, etc. if you need them. Overall, my appointment was no longer than an hour.
All of the staff and the doctor were super personable, caring and professional. I am very glad I was able to get an appointment here and the process was much more organized than Pan Am. Would highly recommend!

I am forced to move this month and everything is complicated by a painful, inflammatory joint disease. Dr. Brar, Dr. Lenoski and the support staff, particularly Gloria are not social workers, but their kindness, willingness to listen and exceptional medical care have made this experience bearable. I've been treated at this clinic for around 5 years and am truly grateful.Thank you Legacy!
