Nikki started in the veterinary industry as a Veterinary Office Assistant after graduating from Robertson College in 2014. After a few years, she decided to go back to school to further her education in veterinary medicine. In 2020, Nikki graduated from the Red River College Animal Health Technology program as a Veterinary Technologist. She began working with us earlier the same year as a student and has been here ever since.
In her spare time, Nikki enjoys spending time fishing at the lake with her family, or hanging out with her Rottweiler mix Jett, and her cat Boo Boo.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Friendly caring staff. Dr.Steuard is a very knowlegeful doctor and cares about the pets! So many veterinarians are all about the money but if you want a sincere knowlegeful vet give Dr.Steuard a try you'll only regret not trying out Southend vet clinic sooner.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dr.Steuart is the absolute best Vet out there.
My family and I have all been with her for over 15 years with our animals. She is kind,caring and compassionate. Her staff are a reflection of her as well. All the gals there are amazing. Pricing is great..great service! Oh and I love the hand drawn pictures on the medication bags that always have a treat inside for the pups!! I would follow her anywhere she goes... she is AMAZING!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful Veterinary clinic!! My nearly 20 year old Chihuahua had major dental issues and Dr. Shannon Stuart took incredible care of my "daughter". She's eating like a puppy again and even more active, well, as much as a 20 year old dog can be!! Keep up the FANTISTIC work!!! The whole office staff are great people! Thank you again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place has the sweetest, most caring people working here. I had to put my cat down this past month, and they made the process as smooth as possible for me and for her. Throughout my cat's life they have only shown love to her, even during her last moments, and I'm really thankful for that. They even personally left me a card which made me feel like I wasn't alone. Thank you for everything that you folks do.

Every time I bring my Rottweiler to the clinic, I am confident that my dog is in good hands. I won’t hesitate to say that my Rottie is still with us thanks to Dr Shannon Steuart’s accurate diagnosis and prescribed medications. Can’t thank you enough guys, keep up good work!
