About Peak Medical Group Hamptons NW Calgary

Peak Medical Group started out in 2010 as a pulmonary function lab, offering quality testing to patients with a quick turnaround time. As more and more clinics started using us, the number of pulmonary function labs grew and we started to think about what other tests we could offer.
Peak started offering allergy and sleep apnea testing in 2012, followed shortly thereafter by the addition of specialists in each discipline that could offer in-depth consultations with patients about the diagnosis and treatment of their conditions. Peak continues to grow each day by adding new specialists and locations to help patients get fast access to quality care.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Got refered here for my hives outbreaks – assumingely an allergy of some sort. The doctor I saw was very unprofessional. He was swearing during our consultation. He immediately assumed acute hives, possibly chronic – without doing one single test. So he just sent me on my way with a very high dose of no name Reactine (Cetrizine). And said "Come see me in January and we'll go from there". Which so far has done nothing for me but made me feel extremely out of it, slightly dizzy, and very tired. I also continue to break out with hives daily, swollen lips, etc. Highly recommended against going here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Waited 2 weeks to get in with an allergist. Was hoping for a treatment for my hives. Appointment lasted 2 minutes. Dr gave me a prescription for Aerius (which turned out to be an over the counter drug).. thanks for wasting my time, I could’ve went to the pharmacy. 2 star because the Dr was friendly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was rough to get in with my gynaecologist just due to some miscommunication between my regular clinic and this one but otherwise Dr. du Toit was amazing. She was so knowledgeable and actually cared about my wellbeing (as it seems many doctors these days don’t). I am so grateful to have her as my OBGYN for my IUD removal and insertion of my new one. She and Angela (the best nurse ever) made me so comfortable and offered other ways to make me comfortable during the procedure that I was not offered the last time I had this done.
If you don’t have an OBGYN here, try to get a referral for Dr. du Toit as she is just simply amazing and I’ve never had such an amazing doctor in this area. I hope she never retires

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I wouldn't worry too much about the other reviews here. I also came for hives and (emergency room) allergic reactions and the doctor was very knowledgeable and helpful. It's not very often that you'll get a doctor who takes the time to draw you notes and write a special note to your wife telling her to not worry so much. He definitely knows what he is talking about and I walked away quite happy. Sometimes the diagnoses or treatment isn't going to be as complicated as you were expecting. That's not a bad thing.
