Parkwood Hills

I have no idea why the reviews are so bad but I have been living in Grenadier Minto building for over 4 years and I've clearly have a great experience here (why I haven't moved yet) My rent is very reasonable compared to the increasingly expensive rent that is out there in Ottawa. My great experience relies on how great service of their team. I have to shout Kira Simper - property manager. Ever since I've been in contact with Kira, she has done nothing but the best for us. She does a phenomenal job at her role and Ive been incredibly grateful for her. Kira always always replies to my emails so quickly, organizes the services we need, makes sure everything gets done in a timely manner, and truly goes above and beyond her job. What stands out about her is that she is incredibly kind, positive, upbeat and always willing to help us - I can see how she truly cares about the tenants in all the buildings she manages. The genuineness is hard to come by these days. We're also so lucky to have Mike around, he is incredibly helpful, and you can see that he prides himself in his work and that he is so devoted. He is an exceptional representative of Minto and we wouldn't have such a great apartment without him! I can tell Mike really cares for the tenants here. Mike is always so nice and always says hi to my boyfriend and I when we pass him. Since 2019, I've really seen the property get into tip top shape. The lawn work, garden, garbage picking and the best - the common areas are so much more clean with regular carpet cleanings, sanitization areas, and mopping and sweeping of the stairs. The building smells so much better. I've never felt unsafe in this area or in the apartment ever. (Other than some people stealing packages, has nothing to do with Minto) We are always informed when things are happening around the apartment, I appreciate the sanitizers near the doors, and I have nothing but a pleasant experience here. The Grenadier building is in such a great area, we're lucky to have a beautiful outdoor pool in the summer, and the soccer field and park behind the building. The tenants at Grenadier are so nice and I can't wait to watch what Minto does in the future to make there properties an even better place!

Mike the Superintendent was in my apartment to replace a light fixture in bathroom and replaced kitchen sink fittings that were leaking. Not only did a good job he also took time to cleanup the little mess that it caused. I must say he is a very pleasant and polite person. I can't thank him enough for installing my living room pole and drapes. Service like that makes one feel he made the right choice by moving in the building. JP. Rouleau

As a new tenant with minto I must say how impressed I am with all I have seen. My unit was immaculate when I moved in, keys easily available and the super was kind enough to explain the features of the building. The building itself is extremely well kept and the super is always available and eager to help. I have met a few neighbours who also tell me that it's a great building and Mike is fantastic. Looking forward to a long tenancy.

After two years as a tenant with Minto, we had an overall great experience dealing with Kira Simper (Property Manager). She was always available to respond our inquiries and got directly involved in finding suitable solutions for our requests. Her efforts to improve our experience as tenant are appreciated. Maintenance is impossible to get a hold of. I have literally called about my floors falling apart nearly 30 times They always say they’ll send someone to fix it but never do I’m so frustrated I feel like giving up How to I get a hold of the owners?

The property manager and staff are wonderful. They go beyond to ensure that any issues your bring forward are adressed and resolved. You are not just a tenant, you are a friend and they care. If you are looking to rent, this is a great location and will not regret. My parents have been with them for years and now I am renting with them and I am fully satisfied. Thank you for caring!

I find the Parkwood Hills to be a wonderful place to live. The buildings are very well kept and extremely comfortable and clean. The manager is very approachable and requests for service is promptly provided. The units are immaculately clean upon move in. Simply wonderful.

I would like to use this platform to acknowledge Ms. KIRA SIMPER for her excellent customer service. We had been living at one of the apartments of Parkwood hills since 2020 and Ms. Kira has been our Property Manager. From the day of showing us around the apartment after our moving till today when we are about to move out, she had been the one person who has always responded to all our queries and concerns in a very time efficient and professional manner. Ms. Kira had been very prompt to the needs and requirements of the tenants and have always provided with a quick resolution of anything put forward to her. She was always a good listener and a patient representative who listened to us. There was no single time when a request forwarded to her was not attended, moreover it was attended by her with utter efficiency and coordination with her team members.
