Paradise Bay - Calgary

Phenomenal store! Great service and selection! All staff that we dealt with at Paradise Bay were helpful and knowledgeable. They came out to assess the space, gave good recommendations and made us feel comfortable about our purchase. The delivery and setup went smoothly, we were coached as to what we needed to do, in regards to maintenance, and when to do it. We couldn't be happier with our decision to use Paradise Bay!

We purchased our first Arctic Spa from Paradise Bay in 1995, and our second one in June 2018. After 23 years it was time for a new one! When we started researching hot tubs, we quickly came back to the importance of having local support and service - over price. Spas from big box retailers may be cheaper, but the overall package of efficiency, performance in our cold winter climate, and local service was key. Trevor was one of the most knowledgeable and patient salespeople we have dealt with. We never felt pressured, and my wife and I tried literally every hot tub in their showroom. We decided on the Arctic Spa Yukon model with Trevor’s expert guidance and it was the right choice for sure. We were able to custom order the color of the cabinet, the spa shell, number of jets, and we decided to add the ultimate lights feature which is awesome! We did a have a few glitches in the first week or so - a leak in a pump gasket and some lights not turning on… but these were fixed the next day by the service team. This confirmed our belief in the importance of local support and service. So, in conclusion, we are very happy with our choice of the Arctic Spa Yukon model and Paradise Bay. We bought an Arctic Spas hot tub from Paradise Bay in April 2021 (delivered in July and worth the wait). Marc was absolutely fantastic and helped us find exactly what we needed without over-selling us on unnecessary options. Delivery crew was incredible - they showed great care and took the time to make sure everything was perfect before sign-off. Support has been excellent and the staff took the time to help us get acquainted with our new hot tub. If you’re in the market for a spa I very highly recommend checking out these guys. The fact that Arctic Spas are built in Alberta also made us feel good for supporting our local economy. If I could give more than five stars I would.

Trying to find a price on my artic spa hot tub pump, was quoted 120 more then the red deer location. Then when I called to ask if they could match price, had to deal with a rude parts guy. Didn't appreciate the way I was talked to and will be dealing with other places from hear out, even if they are a few hours out of my way

I'm happy with the hot tub and the delivery guys who helped put it together and explained how to work it. I'm not too happy with the how the company prepared me to put a hot tub in my yard. I wish that the company offered the service including planning, permiting and safety concerns, even for an additional fee which could be rebated after purchase, of coming to my house and helping me plan the best and safest way for installation and use their recommended electrician, as I was left on my own and didn't plan it correctly the tub placement & I got screwed using my garage builder's electrician that put the breaker too close to the tub. Window companies come to measure before they install, why can't hot tub companies? They told me they just sell hot tubs and it was my problem. Really? Are you a wholesale company? You're a retailer and that comes with customer service. Which was poor in my opinion. I called many times for help, but got laughed at with this mistake and they provided me no solution and I had to find my own way. I was so frustrated, I asked to cancel the order, but they said they would not refund the $2,500 deposit. Really? Your so understocked 3 months of inventory that you couldn't sell it quickly to someone else? They just want your money, don't care about the customer's perspective. They do a poor job preparing you and solving your problem if you have one. I did end up getting an electrician recommended by them after to fix the problem, cost $520 extra. Why didn't you recommend him before, prepare me for safety permits and to tell him to come during the planning stage and not right at the end? Get a spa planner to come on site to plan, inform on permits and include safety with the customer. Don't recommend. You're not a wholesaler, you're a retail service company. Please provide exceptional customer service that includes planning and safety considerations. Don't leave it to the customer to know these things. If you cared about customer satisfaction and safety, you being the experts have the responsibility to properly guide them on all aspects of the purchase, not just the hot tub alone.

Great experience getting help finding an arctic spa hot tub we love. Marc was patient and went the extra mile to make sure we were happy with our choice, and Michelle in financing is friendly and made the process run smoothly. Glad we went with Paradise Bay!

My husband and I couldn’t be happier with our experience at Paradise Bay. From buying the tub from the very knowledgeable Trevor, to the amazing crew they sent to delivery it. Special thanks to Jack, Oskar, and Will for their amazing skills and professionalism during the delivery process. Moving and lifting these hot tubs is not easy but these guys make it look seamless. It was a pleasure to deal with everyone at Paradise Bay and we will remain loyal customers and refer friends and family in the future. Thank you all so much!

I bought an Arctic Spa from the good people at Paradise. While the spa hasn’t been perfect, I’ve been incredibly impressed with the after sales service on my unit. I’ve worked extensively with their service people and have always felt they’ve had my best interests at heart and they’ve worked to make things right at every turn. Thanks Paradise Bay!
