Papa John's Pizza St. Laurent Blvd, Ottawa

Wonderful place, Great customer service. Their pizzas, sides and deserts are so delicious compared to ones out there. Worth every penny you spend. Definitely recommend this place.

Update time: So soon, I know, but I really enjoyed my pizza from Papa John's last week that I had to have it again for takeout Friday. Unfortunately, while the pizza was good, I found several hairs in the pizza that I ordered tonight. Were talking about almost every slice. I was about to take a bite of my pizza when I found a long white hair sticking out of the cheese. I went to inspect the other slices and found hair on top or baked in the cheese. I get that mistakes happen and hair sometimes gets into food (it shouldn't happen but it does), but LITERALLY finding so much hair baked in a pizza is unacceptable and makes me think that food hygiene practices and hair nets are not being implemented. Sorry Papa John's but no more takeout Fridays from me. Order #: 931970529 (in case management sees this and they want to figure out which employees were working this evening) Papa John's has made its way into Ottawa! Of course I had to give it a try. Ordered an Extra Large NY style pizza tonight, with garlic knots and a variety of sauces to try out (cheese, their special garlic and ranch). The pizza is very reminiscent to Canadian chain Pizza Pizza in my opinion, but their pizza sauce is on the sweeter side. I would recommend asking to go heavier on the pizza sauce when placing your order. Sauce was spread a tad thin. Garlic knots were amazing and they were not shy drenching them in garlic butter. SO good. I have been eyeing their special garlic dipping sauce, and found it was OK. It's basically a creamy butter. Their ranch dipping sauce had more tang, and their cheese dipping sauce would be a pass for me. They do offer Heinz garlic dipping sauce if that is more your speed, which went well with the pizza. The fam and I enjoyed the pizza, and will definitely order again for pizza night.

Pretty impressed by this place. It's a little pricey, but the quality is there. There's no corner cutting. The pizzas look and taste great, the delivery drivers have been very polite and fast, the wings are actually tossed in sauce (unlike other places that just dump sauce on the top in the box). The food is always piping hot when it reaches my door. I'm pretty impressed by this place and I will definitely be a regular.

We ordered an XL meats pizza and some dips, and overall weren't impressed. The customer service was fabulous, let me make that abundantly clear! First off, everything is pricey. Secondly, the pizza is pretty greasey, and the sauce was oddly sweet. The pizza itself was cooked very well, the crust was perfect. The dips were incredibly oily, and the buffalo sauce tasted kind of soapy. Most concerning of all is that we found what appeared to be a beard hair on the pizza. We ordered to give it a try, but overall we wouldn't recommend it.

Received a menu in the mailbox on Friday and thought what the hell, I have only heard good things...I called yesterday evening at about 8:00pm for delivery. The lad on the phone was very attentive and entertaining. I was BLOWN away when the delivery guy showed up 20 minutes later. Super fast (I live on Springfield, so that's pretty close to their location) Delivery guy was really polite, seemed to be proud that he was "Delivering happiness" to people. This was a great experience. Customer service is NOT a suggestion. Too many places treat customers like an inconvenience. I think the managers here get that and pass on their pride to the Team. Way to go Papa John!! Will be my go to pizza place from now on...!!

New York Pizza Style, alright taste, a bit pricey for what you get, garlic sauce is a pass

First time trying Papa John's pizza. We wanted to check out their stuffed crust pizza, and the philly cheesesteak papadias. The pizza was good for a chain, and the stuffed crust cheese was different (no cheese pull, booo), maybe it would have tasted better right out of the oven. The Philly cheesesteak was tasty, I myself, prefer the onions and peppers well done but it was good. I do need to say I was not too fawn of the garlic sauce, it was like eating butter lol, not for me but I'm sure lots of people love it. This might be a chain, but it is locally owned and I hope they succeed! #supportlocal #ottawafoodiestalker
