★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is our this time using Ottawa Home Services, and something we will be continuing to do. Recently we had them in to replace our old rental hot water tank with a tankless hot water heater. They quoted the right unit and solution that was best for us, specifically a unit with a small resevoir and an recirculation line. Install was done well with no messes or issues and the new unit works great! We were expecting it to take longer for hot water in our house, but that recirculation loop seems to be working, as it's now faster with this unit when compared to our original tank heater. Would highly recommend this company

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My first experience with Ottawa Home Services was a new furnace install 4 years ago, and every interaction I've had with them to this day has been exemplary. Everything from booking appointments and having questions answered over the phone to technicians being clear, thorough and considerate during service appointments. Pierre has again provided excellent service this year, taking his time get everything perfect when I'm sure he has a very busy schedule.
I'm in the process of moving all of my regular annual HVAC services over to them, and they will be the first people I speak to if and when I need new HVAC equipment installed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really disappointed with my experience. They installed an air conditioner for us a little while back and when we just got our furnace replaced the air conditioning coils almost fell to the floor. They had not been mounted or secured and our repair man told us that it was a very poor standard of work. Contacted Ottawa home services and they offered no support at all, despite their negligence costing us $250 in additional repairs.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a hot water tank installed by Ottawa Home Services yesterday. The site team, Troy and his colleague, showed great professionalism through the whole installation and provided a solution that I was happy with. They executed the job very well.
I also had a great experience with Dana during the initial consultation as well as Kevin, who helped during the site consultation as well as during the installation process.
Overall, excellent service and a great experience with Ottawa Home Services and I would definitely recommend them to others.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Out of the 3 estimates I had received (ductless heating and AC for 3 levels of the house), Ottawa Home Services came out with the best price (flat fixed price as well and not an estimate so no unexpected surprises for my budget) and best value in terms of the hardware provided for the installation. The crew assigned to the project (Matt and Mo) were professional, courteous, and friendly and I could tell they knew exactly what they were doing which made me feel at ease with the work to be completed. Matt also suggested a different approach to the electrical routing for the project, which was an added bonus as it worked out nicely. Overall, I am very happy with the work and will gladly recommend them to friends and family as well as call upon them again for any of my future home needs. Great job guys!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ *** UPDATE> After posting this review, Ottawa Home Services was able to book the maintenance for this week. ***
I pay a monhtly fee for an annual maintenance plan. Originally this meant twice a year they would come out to perform the maintenance (spring and fall). In 2020 Ottawa Home Services changed that the once a year and the spring maintenance did not occur until August. This year it is proving quite challenging to get Ottawa Home Services to fulfill their end of the contract. I am unable to book the maintenance before December. The response I received was along the lines of they were too busy installing ACs and now furnaces to get to the annual maintenance custmers on time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We called Ottawa Home Services this past Saturday night as our furnace stopped working and it was dropping to a chilly -26 overnight. This technically was an emergency call and this company could have sent a technician over and charged us for an emergency. Instead, Nick (a very friendly, knowledgeable and professional technician) called us and asked a few questions about the furnace (doing some diagnostics over the phone), he then walked my husband through how to do a hard reset of our furnace and just like that, it started working and has been working ever since. He did not charge us for the phone call. It's refreshing to see such great customer service these days and we will definitely be hiring them again for any repairs or maintenance needed in the future!
