F	Federico Hernandez on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a welcoming experience before I decided to have my eye exam done there and while I was deciding on a frame. Later when my eyeglasses were ready, I went to try them and the prescription was definitely wrong on one eye. I knew this immediately and I told the lady in charge and she said it was normal but I felt dizzy started getting headaches and a week after I couldn't get used to them. I had to go back (waste of time) and ask again about this. Then another lady trying to avoid immediate action just acted as if she was comparing my new and old prescription and told me the same, that it was normal and it would take some time to get used to them (this was not the case, more wasted time). In the end they got the prescription wrong and didn't want to admit it. A good service involves immediate action, if you are wrong don't waste people's time and try to solve their issue fast. My advice for anyone having this same problem in the future is that as soon as you get your glasses if you notice something wrong, do not leave until you get another evaluation. I won't be recommending this place unfortunately.
B	Barry Penner on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Highly recommended. I had accidentally stepped on a new pair of titanium glassses and was in dire need of having them straightened out ASAP. I doubted whether they could be salvaged, but the staff were able to make a temporary fix to my frames at no charge. A few days later, I returned and left the glasses for what I expected would be a full day to more thoroughly straighten my frames. To my surprise, I received a phone call about an hour later to pick up my glasses. They were fixed! Great service, courteous staff.

I went to other places who said they couldn't help me which was not the case at Opticana. Overall, I highly recommend if you need an eye glass repair, and it is quite affordable as well.

My eyeglasses broke (the arm broke off) the morning I was to board the ship. I did a Google search and found Opticana. It was a short walk from the hotel and they were the only one that open at 9:30. They said they couldn't fix the arm and gave me 2 options. Replace both arms so they match or put my lenses on. They gave me tons of options for new frames. They replaced my frames and I walked out of there with a new pair of frames in plenty of time to board my ship. I've never seen an optician work like they did.

However, there were a few issues. - They said the repair would take up to 10 minutes, so I agreed and stayed there, but it ended up taking 40 minutes. - As replacement, they offered me new frames which costed 104 dollars in total. I see a lot of comments about this store being affordable, how is this affordable?! Some of the best frames I see in other stores cost 20 dollars or less. - They didn't give me cleaning cloth and a hard case for the 104 dollar glasses. I had to ask for them myself. This appeared cheap. Overall, I had an unpleasant experience.
