Pauline is extremely helpful. If she does not have it she can price it new and or see if she can get it. Knowledgable also about the different brands.

I'm glad we found Open Box. We had a great service working with Pauline. We ended up buying from them a couple of times including a stove, dishwasher, and range-hood.

On March 8, 2014, I bought a beautiful new refrigerator with a couple of small scratches/dents for $700.00 plus tax. Pauline, the owner, was very kind and helpful. The fellows who delivered the fridge had to spend an extra hour removing doors from the house AND fridge to get it in carefully. They asked for $25.00 for their time, but I gave them more as it really was quite an effort to get it into the kitchen. No wonder I am a repeat customer.

Excellent service and amazing prices. Bought a washing machine this morning for less than 1/2 it’s original price. It’s new with a few scratches! I’ve set it up already and it’s working like a charm. I will go back there for future appliances. Thanks to Pauline, Patty and Kwanza (spelling?)

best shopping experience ever we were looking for a washer machine for our new home, luckily found this store on google. the owner lady offered a brand new Samsung washer machine which was labeled $599 for only $450. (home depot is selling for $900 plus tax) she also managed the same day delivery from Scarbrough to Newmarket only for $100. i didn't want warranty so she waved the tax! also Pauline gave my wife a mattress topper packaging as a gift. couldn't be happier shopping from this store and definitely will do again

SPECIAL NOTE: The response was from an employee that had absolutely no interaction with us during the time we had a problem with the product we purchased. Their account, which wasn't really the written words of the owner that we interacted with, but rather that of an employee which in turn was absolutely false. Facts are facts, they left us hanging, and did nothing to fix the problem. This is all fine, just our opinion, and we lost $800. The Bottom line....I am super happy that I will never have to subject myself or another client to this business. Sad thing is, this business would rather make excuses and blame the customer rather than take responsibility." ORIGINAL REVIEW: Really inequitable business. Understand no returns, they don't stand by their product, so naturally why would why would they give you your money back. Had a plumber install the dishwasher I purchased, which subsequently leaked and did damage to my ceiling below. Error code read water leakage. Called Pauline, she said she would send someone to fix, 13 days later, and many calls in between no one called. When I complained, some fellow called and said the problem was my electrical with out even coming by. Pretty fed up at his point and way too late in my mind. I said that's $800 in the trash can (curb), her answer was "wow!" Thanks Pauline. After all of the sales I brought your way, you are not a fair business person. I would be embarrassed to act the way you do. Thank God this happened to me and not one of my clients. (Well it did and I paid for it) We need stronger and more equitable businesses in our community, this is not one. This was not the first time that we were let down, we kept out thoughts to ourselves, hoping. Hoping is not always the best. Please save your money....there are better options out there.

I had been looking for a French door style wine & beverage bar fridge, and with dual temperature controls, but the prices were outrageous! Low & behold “Open Box” had exactly what I was looking for at half the price! Customer service was amazing and they were so accommodating. A 5 ⭐️ from us!!!
